I have all kinds of high-end armor for my ranger, but I wanted something more simple, which in my opinion suits a ranger better. Here's what I came up with:
And similarly, I used to have a canthan 15k top on my ritualist, but I hated how the spikes were sticking out and the shoulder pad couldn't be dyed, so I went with Luxon 1.5k top.

I remember a little while back there were some Elementalists wanting to buy 15k Canthan. So I went by Shing Jea today and bought the 20g version of the 1.5 Canthan and came up with some mixes, in case they can't afford to buy it all at once, or wanted to mix. Of course, you're going to have to imagine how they would look if they were the same colour. <_< Grey is the 1.5k, Pink is the 15k.

ah, I dont think I even HAVE a toon with one set of armor that is not mix-n-match.
but here are some of my more recent sets. my ele likes to mix her armor up....so here she is with vabbi and 15k sunspear (and factions shoes dyed white---white goes with everything ) vabbi and factions skirt.my illusionist with her ancient and canthan hose. my necro liked the 1k experience and it matches the skirt and my poor rit who doesnt like anicent and cant afford vabbi---so she got an imperial skirt. (very expesive dye combo as it involved 2 blacks to get the shade to match the pre-dye-nerf top )
