For me, armor combos mean two things:
1) The player accidentally bought a rogue piece from another set.
2) The player could not afford the complete set and was forced to combine with cheaper pieces.

You don't realize how stupid that sounds...do you? People use unique armor combos to look different than everyone else. That is the whole point.. I have plenty of money but I spend it on the pieces that look the best and compliment each other be they 1k or 15k pieces.

I love this combo, the Enchanter's matches perfectly with the Virtuoso's, and the detailing on all of it is incredible (especially the mask). This is my favourite Mesmer combo, and occassionally I'll switch back to my 15k Virtuoso Attire, which then makes me look like a Shadow Mesmer.

On a side note, anyone have some nice combos using 15k Kurz or 15k Virtuoso? I couldn't come up with anything that looked good.

i love the combo with the FOW skirt and Rogues attire.
15k kurz attire goes great with 15k enchanters Grotto boots. im pretty sure FOW gloves would go better then those random gloves i have on, but my mes is not getting fOW anytime soon

Maxie goes Tribal! I really love this combo, and the shield and spear match it very nicely. Haven't found an off-hand to match this set however, currently using the Blessed Chalice. A Straw Effigy would probably match well, but I doubt I'll find one with the mods I want (or do these drop in Nightfall?).

No, the dollies don't drop in NF, but you *might* be able to get one from Factions elite mission areas.
My ele will get new boots whenever I get around to getting her to Cantha and getting some cute boots for her. My necro, Laria, was a very carefully thought out and dyed mix. Since it was dyed with the old dye system, I wouldn't know how to go about dyeing it the same colors now. My rit used to wear a different skirt with the Luxon top, but I finally decided I liked the Luxon skirt well enough to get it too. The Luxon skirt/bra combo is so ornamented that I went with very simple, understated gloves and boots.
