Pls someone can post the video? Its tough, its probably one of the more involved farming areas around because you have to monitor when the ritualist might use the weapon of warding along with monitoring your health and timers on your skills...
the first group of 5 you can lure back down to make it easier and the canthan guards and city people will kill them off then once you reach wing, three blade...hope theres not 2 ritualists, seems almost impossible to kill him if theres 2 ritualists with him

Just play more with W/N build, when you master it you will rock the place. BTW I got my Axe

Phouse
Is there a working build for a W/Mo?
I've just tried it with this:
Strength 11 +3
Healing Prayers 10
Swordsmanship 11+1
Sever artery
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Distracting Blow
Tiger Stance
Dolyak Signet
Mending (As I use Victo's Blade + it nicely counters the -1 degen as well as provides some healing)
Healing Hands
Easy to take out Wing's group, including the ritualist, but I didnt manage to get Wing down past 80%.
Im assuming it needs a stance like Bonetti's for the energy to fuel distracting blow or something, but too tired to try it now.
Any ideas?

I tried to SS for a 55 monk on this. Failed miserably.
So no, 55 necro doesn't work. You could try a Dark Aura bomber on 55 necro though, that might work. Good points, but your use of cookie cutter UW farm builds doesn't mean it can't be done quicker with a two man build.
In fact I bet I could do this in less than 5 minutes a run dual farming. It still takes 10-15 runs to get an axe so that's still 50-75 minutes of farming for 1 axe. They sell for like 25k so I don't see anything super-profitable happening from this.
I did a video of my solo build but it didn't come out very well. I plan on redoing it and posting it very soon.

Its easy with a 55 hp monk and SS. Just have the 55 bring SoJ and holy strike and kill the mesmers first.
Also did the run with some rust build not exactly sure what it was.

zeno
if anyone else is interested, this is probably most easily done with a variation of the Me/Mo UW 55 solo build.
Illusion: 11 + 1 + 3
Domination: 3 + 3
Protection: 9
Healing: 9
Fastcast: remainder
Ignorance
Sympathetic Visage
Illusionary Weaponry {e}
Healing Breeze
Prot Spirit
Mending
Balth's Spirit
Essence Bond
Take out Rits->Mesmers->Ele in that order. Stand close to as many casters as you can and slap on Sympathetic Visage, and the Rits will not have enough energy to heal.
After you have taken out all the casters, leave 1 knight alive along with Wing. Ignore the knight and wail away on Wing. With 2 melee hitting you, you'll have enough energy to permanently keep Ignorance on Wing. From there it's a pushover.
The advantage of this over a monk comes from not only the ability to cast Ignorance, but IW outdamages SOJ when it comes to single targets, which is what you want in this situation.

The Exodus
the build and video arent helping me >_<
i can always take the punishment that the first mob gives out, but i cant get the ritualist down...final thrust just doesnt seem to be spammable enough, and if i try to use it more, i lose adrenaline for riposte.
this farm is really starting to bug me though. the mesmer 55 build would work but i dont wanna just create a mes for that.

Yes. That's kinda rough spawn with W/N but with ME/MO like this one above you is gonna rock Wing
Shadowborn Demon
I don't have a primary Mes, so I ran this build:
Mo/Me
12 Illusion
8 Domination
9 Healing
9 Prot
10 Smiting (there was no point in this whatsoever, I was originally going to take Stonesoul but I didn't, and everytime I got back to Marketplace I forgot to spend this elsewhere(but keep in mind i use a +4 Smiting Prayers Helm))
Skills where as follows:
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Illusionary Weaponry [e]
Ignorance
Ancestor's Visage (same as Sympathetic Visage, just factions - I think factions skills look way cooler so if theres a duplicate i buy Factions xD)
Mantra of Resolve (must have, otherwise mesmers would interrupt)
Mending
Balthazar's
Runs the same as the first 55 build posted, slightly slower though. Got axe on my 3rd run. Have fun, just goes to show that 55mo's can use Elites other than SoJ!

Mo/Me build discribed by Shdowborn Demon works very well. The strategy is avoid ritualists spreading out. Aggro in a way so that the ritualists are adjacent to you and the Jade Knights hitting on you, so they get constant mana degen by Ancestor's Visage. I didn't figure it out till I peruse the skill desciption. Take out the ritualist and mesmers, don't kill the knights, for the are your mana regen source.
from start of battle till death of Wing: around 8 minutes.

For those that have a hard time to kill Wing with W/N. Here is some advice:
1. This build is kinda hard, focus.
2. Your first target is Ritualist, and keep spamming Riposte and Deadly Riposte til Jade Warrior dies. And keep focus fire on the Ritualist. Use Grenth Balance on either Mesmer or Mage. And you MUST use Bonneti if you gonna use Healing Signet. And still Riposte only triggers on meele attacks ok? Ritualist attack is range.
3. When you facing Wing keep spamming riposte and deadly, (use Sskai's sword), so that ritualisten must heal wing and that gives you a chance to kill ritulaist. Still you MUST use Bonneti if you gonna use Healing Signet (Wing damage is very high). If you are low on health use Grenth Balance on Wing. So when the ritualisten is down kill mesmer first then mage.
4. So now is 1on1. First let Wing damage you til your life gets under 150-100 then use Grenth Balance. Then try to block so much attack as possible with riposte and Bonneti. He will drop pretty much after the Grenth Balance.
I hope this helps (^_^)

Fun build. You can pretty much dominate all of them. Wing takes awhile, especially if you miss his signets.
Sentinel's Armor helps. I tried this build and it is truely awful. The vig spirit and LV do nothing to counter the dmg you receive even when you have weakened wing. And as for energy management, errrm energy I had none.

I can't be 100% sure if this works but a good way to make only 1 ritualist spawn is to switch out a skill for another and then back to the original skill while in town. Usually if you don't change any of your skills once you rezone back into town, there will be 2 ritualists in Wing's group. So say I zone back into town, I'd switch sprint for heal signet and then back to sprint. Every time I go back to fight Wing, there's only 1 ritualist.
I use W/N: Bonetti's Defense, Riposte, Deadly Riposte, Grenth's Balance, Severe Artery, Doylak Signet, Endure Pain, Sprint
Att Points: 13 Strength, 9 Sword, 13 Tactics
Equipment: Gladiator's + Platemail's Helm of Superior Strength, Superior Absorption on chest, Superior Vigor, Minor Tactics, Sskai's Sword, Exalted Aegis
I rarely use Heal Signet so I opted for endure pain and sprint. Sprint to get there faster and to pass the group before Wing's group and endure pain for when Wing has ~15% HP and in case those mesmers somehow magically interrupt your Grenth's Balance (has happened many times to me). I usually take down the ritualist then hop right onto Wing. No need to waste time killing the rest of his group.

meat shield
sound crazzy but i killed him using 7 beast mastery skills and eiher pridology(e/r)
distrupting lunge and the ting that lets him posion
a kd skill and the one that adds dazed to a knocked down foe
the "is target foe is atacking it sufers from bleeding" skill anbd others
lure the group to the guards and quickly kill the rit using dazed
get to wing
lure him alll down and killt he rit and the wars
get him struck, not able to atack (you need big luck for this)behind storage box
wack him(you better be REAL good at intrupting a 1 sec spell whit a pet)using posion
if you miss his heal sig for the 2nd time, use knockdowns as intrupt while distrupting lunge is gecharging
got his axe at 1st time lol

Since I have a Me that's lv3 and stuck in Pre, here's my Mo build for Wing. I tried the build from Shadowborn but found it a bit slowish, and sometimes dangerous couse I kept running out of energy (constant recast of PS, HB, Igonrance and occasional IW killed me).
So here's a different approach to 55Mo. Or shall I say, 13HP Mo. All of you who are going for Survivor Title or just hate dieing, skip all this...
All you need to know is in the last pic, but here's for the lazy ones...
SKILLS:
Illusionary Weaponry (E) - IW
Protective Spirit – PS
Ignorance
Ancestor's Visage
Mantra of Resolve – MoR
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Mending
Attribs:
Illusion – 12
Domination – 9
Inspiration – 3
Healing – 8
Smiting – 4 (no need really, I just like getting adrenaline from Balth.
)
Protection – 11
Divine Favor – 4
WEAPONS:
Totem Axe
Plagebourn Focus (energy +7, req4 DF, +5AL, -20HP)
A few explanations 1st...
- Divine Favor is for +7 energy from focus and for more healing with PS couse my DP goes down when I kill the part of the mob. So if I go up to 30-40HP Mending will hold me alive, but my HP will slowly go down if they hit me all at the same time. So PS enables me to go back to max HP.
- Yes, I know, I have no Healing Breeze. The thing it, that sucker casts 1sec and costs 10 energy. And it has to be cast pretty often. So to speed things up and reduce my energy expeses, I dumped it.
This run takes 10mins (or less depending on 1 or 2 Rt with Wing). So here we go..
Exit Marketplace, go over the bridge and up the ramp, turn left and go stand in the corner couse you've been a bad little boy/girl. ;o) The Jade mob should kill you pretty fast, 1 hit from Channeling Stike and you're back where you started.
Now, put Essence, Balthazar's Spirit and Mending on, switch to -20HP focus and head to Wing. When you get to the 1st mob, put on PS and MoR and just run through (or stop if there's a chest there, and have a treat). When you get to the top cast PS again before you aggro the Wing's mob and continue running to the bridge ahead and loose the aggro of the 1st mob. Ritualists from Wing's mob should be nicely piled up (if there's 2 of them), so go in and cast MoR and PS again, then Visage and IW and start slashing away.
Mending will keep you alive against this mob for sure. I died only once here couse I put priority on casting IW instead of PS (idiot). Keep PS, IW, MoR and Visage on untill you kill the Rts, then move on to Mesmers. This goes a lot faster couse you don't have to recast HB, and IW and MoR have a pretty long duration, and PS casts very fast. So more time for slashing = quicker deaths. Mesmers HAVE TO go down not couse they interrupt (MoR is not the problem here), but couse they remove Ignorance from Wing. And when Rt and Me are down, head on to Wing. I leave Ele and W alive couse they give me energy and really don't do anything to disturb my kill. Now you leave MoR and Visage out, cast only PS and IW when it starts to run out, and spam Ignorance on Wing as soon as it recharges. He should be dead in 2-3 recasts of IW, unless you're unlucky and he manages to cast Healing Sig (never happened to me yet). When he's dead, you can finish off the rest of the mob or rezone. My goal here was only the axe, so usually didn't bother with the others, although they sometimes drop nice runes.
Many thanks to Shadowborn Demon and zeno, couse this is really their build, I just adapted it to something that suits me better. As you all know, builds are very individual. Also, I TOTALLY suck with that W/N build, couldn't get pass the 1st mob, so had to come up with something.
Enjoj, bare in mind this is my 1st thing I posted on forums so don't kill me right away if I messed something up. As all builds, I'm sure mine also has space for improvement...
Got 2 axes from him, all I really needed for my guildies....1st was after 6 runs, 2nd after 7 runs.
P.S.
Visage can be replaced with Illusion of Haste if you want to get there faster, but it'll take a little more time to kill of Rts. Your choice really...
