BRA giveaway "Bring teh Build!"

My favorite builds for aspenwood and jade quarry are the "WTF" builds, where my warrior runs past everyone, then turn around and rushes all the warriors, then think im a noob and start to hack me to peices, then come the 2 best skills a warrior can own.. Shield of Judgement, and Holy Wriath, he warriors get KD'd once.. say "WTF", and turn around and kill my monk.

i died like once in an entire battle couse they realized i wansnt worth killing.


another classic is the runner, i did that once worked like a champ, my standard Droks-type W/Mo runner, in aspenwood, i could drop hexes, run, heal, condition removal, and deal 2 dmg to anyone who couldnt get away. i looked real threating sneeking through all the doors the kurzicks were opening, made it to the architect in no time, but then just ran in circles till my team cought up.

BTW: im kurzick, was just on lux side to get befriending

I can always rig up a 55 hp W/Mo

i could bring the worst possible build i can come up with, but some pug will probably have something worse.

I hope this gets people to Jade Quarry. I've yet to do it because no one is ever there.

Yeah..that's what we're really hoping too. Alot of us really enjoyed the map and feel that it just needed a little push to get it off the ground.

BRA members will also be doing their best to help and explain the map along with hints & tips to improve game play (most often its the ignornace of the new map and getting rolled that discourages ppl from coming back and actually learning. "Why get pwned @ Jade when I can run amok in Aspen?") We're going to also try and offset man power issues at slow times (i.e. if a side is missing folks - BRA will shift extra members to that particular side to ensure ppl have opponents.) Just have to keep in mind that this map is similiar to Aspenwood in that there are only so many games at any given time (I believe Aspenwood is 3 games running at once).

Just be sure to tell your friends and guildmates about it and remind them to get out on Saturday as much as they can. Keep the momentum going!

I think I'll bring my whammo...Wearing full sentinels armour... so I only have 20 energy. I will set her up as main healer, running two enchants, so I have no regen. I will use a wand or a vamp weapon. I'll put nothing in healing/strength or weapon mastery...I'm going all smite and prot with my attribute points, baby. And don't you go thinking I'm bringing bonetti's!

this gives me the perfect chance to try a ranger build ive always wanted to try a ranger fire nuker...might actually work if i spec high enough in expertise and don't bring exhausting spells...forget that definately at 0 expertise using meteor shower

LOL I can't wait to see all these horrid builds running around. But more so, I'm sure the jack@$$ will come out in all of us so I'm really looking forward to the in-game chat.


I know at some point there will be a bit of frustration and ppl will revert to builds they know/prefer (cause ya just know there's gonna be a few ppl in there trying their hardest obvious to the folks gaming around them) but I guess in the long run, that's what we want. People coming out to actually play

hehe.... or i could jus be w war with a sword and no armor.... then bring skills like frenzy and heal sig (interrupting myself before actual heal) and good stuff like that hehe

well fine then - I'll bring a R/Mo with predatory season, tranquility and NR along with boon, RoF, Guardian, Ageis & Oathshot and then complain how you're taking all my mana to keep alive.

This is a great idea, I'm so going to partisipate in this and I hope my build is good enough to win something, but this should be a laugh anyway. Can't wait until this starts already.

The ideas are great, but the tin-soldier race didn't turn out so well last time in LA..

YAY FINALLY PEOPLE ARE PLAYING! This is fun but be warned that some of the people on Luxon side aren't playing crap builds.... But my crap build pwned a warrior... somehow... LMAO!

yeah sorry folks.... i was listening to the advice of a guildmate who apperently was drinking (and if he wasn't, than he should have been). Got it started a little late but we've been going for 5hrs now.

I'm just taking a breather atm ... will get back in soon!

Well folks I just wanted to post a quick wrap up to the event and say what a great turn out this was. We had Jade Quarry ID1 up and running for approx. 7hrs on Saturday (BRA members took a break @ 5hrs and unfortunately lost a lot of the momentum) but regardless it was definitely worth a few laughs. There were; without a doubt, some really horrid builds being run and some of them obviously will scar me for life (cough Jormund cough). I will personally say though, my biggest enjoyment was whispering folks telling them they had won a prize for their build and them not understanding what I was talking about "What do you mean I win a prize for my build?" "What's wrong with my build?".

There were several folks that donated items this time around and I will edit this post later to include all their names (I have it written down @ home - currently @ work) but most definitely want to extend a big thank you for your generosity and help with this event.

Also wanted to send out a quick thanks to all the Alliance members that helped out and particapted in the event as well (specifically CGA). Many of them got into the spirit as well and donated large amounts of items to the giveaway pile as well as helped hand out prizes and supported the event (town criers, bodies to fight against when a side was missing opponents etc.)


As always we're open to new suggestions and ideas to help improve our future events so if there's anything you'd like to see or have added, please post it here or message a BRA member in-game.


Thanks again to all that came out - it was a blast to be out playing Jade Quarry again (even if it was against Wa's using Ride the lighting or healing Ra's or self sacrificing EOE's etc.)

yes that was SO MUCH FUN! I really wanted to be able to make it back but stuff came up or I crashed out or something lol.

The best battle I recall was the warrior we all piled onto who was using heal area... NO ONE WAS DIEING! Omg I thought I would never stop laughing, that was just great!
I would love to see this happen again and also I have lots to donate when ya do =P
