I always thought he looked like he was about to crap his pants but I guess your explanation would work too! Dissonance is a pretty good looking rit skill as well, imho.

I also like Air of Enchantment, Vampiric Spirit, Blood is Power, and others I can't recall right now. A lot of the new Factions necro skills were nicely done as well, imo.

Desecrate Enchantments is cool. However, the Factions version of it is complete crap.

Determined Shot and Delibating Shot are nice looking ones for Ranger.

Ritual Lord looks very cool. Its one of the only Factions skills I like looking at .

The old Hamstring was cool and Protectors Strike is cool as well. Oh and Warriors Cunning. And Deflect Arrows and Disciplined Stance.

I like the new "Live Long and Prosper" mesmer elite skill. It helps them survive and become very rich farmers while they're at it.

Another vote for skull crack, that picture is just class!

Mind wrack's big picture of a brain amuses me too for some reason.

What I don't like are the new factions mesmer icons: pretty much all of them apart from signets are a woman in a little black dress (Lyssa, presumably?) with some swirly lines around her. It's really hard to tell which is which from the icon sometimes, let alone what they do. :/

Maybe it's just a sub-consciously repressed violent disposition... But I like Eviscerate.

Its name is great, on par with Equinox for coolest sounding imo. Its picture is pretty standard though...

I'd really like to know which idiot modelled for this one. Don't give me the 'they made it themselves' crap. I know they got the expression of a human. I totally want to know who it was, so I can contact him and ask him to do it again and totally laugh my ass off.

If you bother to look closely you'll see it's a ray going through said muscle, presumably cutting off the adrenaline. Makes perfect sense to me.
