The Stonereaper farm - make it kills itself

ahh i cant do this with monk primary >< just take too much damage from his wand attacks ><

100-150 damage per wand >< I had the same problem with my mo/w. I tried using guardian to avoid some of his attacks, but wasn't efficient. I also tried hidding behind the pillars, but his attacks were passing through

Anyway, I changed some skills and most efforts are successful now (although I get killed once every 3 runs or so). The skills I use are Healing Touch, Remove Hex, Holy Veil, Contemplation of Purity, Purge Conditions, Scourge Sacrifice, Balanced Stance, and Sprint. Follow Mister O's instructions, but use holy veil and cop as often as you can so you can remove 2 hexes at once and heal yourself a little. It is a bit tendious, but doable. After 20 runs, I finally got its staff.
I will definitely try to hide behind the door, as liquid suggests, and see if that works.

I was wondering for farming this enemy would a touch ranger be able to work? I haven't heard if it could, but if not I am thinking I could bring my monk with full health and use like SoJ along with the scourge sacrifice in place of the warrior. its very touch ranger-able.

What you do:
Hit a stance like whirling and run into the warden bunch, trip all the traps in the area if you can, turn around and PTouch the cripple off you, and hit Dodge to run from the group. Then when your health is A ok, go at stone reaper.

11 times I've killed him. Best drop has been a purple....

Just curious does he have plague touch by any chance? Or the other send conditions back, wondering if throw dirt would help for a while. Throw Dirt does instead help if your touching him.

My build is simple.
Vamp Touch
Vamp Bite
Plague Touch
OoB
Whirling
Throw Dirt
Troll (I only get +5, but thats all you need)
Dodge

No need to die at the wardens. Hit Whirling, and setoff all the traps quickly, tap tab and P Touch crippling off (luckily its the bottom condition, so its removed before bleeding), and hit dodge to run through them. You usually get through with like ~200 HP left if any of them luckily hit you. This is where Troll comes in, you still have bleeding on you for like atleast 10 more secs, so so Troll is to counter the bleeding degen so you don't degen to death (thats why troll doenst have to be good). Alternatively, you can just P Touch the bleeding off too, but at the risk of getting hit a few more times by the wardens.

When you regen back to full health, run up to Stonereaper and Throw Dirt on him, Vamp duo and OoB as needed until Throw wears off, then put your newly recharged whirling up. Now if he isnt stuck on a pillar (like he is 90% of the time) he may activate the aoe nerf and run from whirling damage, just move within range and commence touching. If he outlasts Whirling (which he might because of bond), look, and if he is about at ~33% health, just let yourself fall below 50% health right quick, and he USUALLY will sac himself to death with Defile+Lingering.

Like others of posted, Stonereaper has a GOOD CHANCE of having "Nothing" as a drop - No Gold, No Scrolls, No Nothing. Just...Nothing. This doesn't mean you hit anti-farming code - Nothing is just one of his common drops. He also drops: All Scrolls with some commonness, Gems - like all things made of stone he has a semirare chance of dropping saps and rubies, Stone carvings and remnants, and necromancer weapons.

erm...stupid question..but where the hell can i find the skill scourge sacrfice? It's a Prophecies skill you can get from Gammel (Copperhammer Mines) or Dakk (Ember Light Camp).
