Option to NOT display headgear on character select screen [petition]......

plus it already works for elementalist headgear, so seems like they did part of it and forgot to do the same for the other professions...

they should be able to copy and paste the code from the elementalist

My Elementalist always has her Fire aura headpiece turned on but it never shows on the character select screen!!

You can unequip it in game if you're taking a picture? Otherwise I don't see why this needs to be worked on if it's only being viewed for 5 seconds

its being viewed the whole time your in PVP battle--especially while running. and you cant unequip a pvp cape.

They should just spend some time to fix ALL the character selection screen bugs. Like the monk tattoos turning back to their basic blue when you log off and back on without restarting the client. The first time I saw that, I thought for a second my character might be messed up somehow. It's really embarrassing to have bugs in the first screen you see when you log on.

I figured I'd buy a shiny new 15K Kurzick set for my warrior, and save money by not buying the headpiece, and keeping it set to "Never Show". Instead I bought the big doofy 1.5K Shing Jea helmet that looks like an English cop's hat. I had to look at that big stupid thing every time I logged in, and after a few weeks, it drove me so crazy that I faction-farmed the amber I needed to buy the damn Kurzick helm.

I personally never show my headgear in game, but for some reason on the logon screen it appears. I purposefully buy cheap, crappy looking headgear for my female characters because I know I'm not going to show them...it's a shame I need to see those uggggie things when I log in.

Cheap helmets look kinda crappy at the best of times, If I have it hidden, I want it to stay hidden.

Honestly, even 10 Minutes of Developer Time wasted on this something, could be used to fix a more severe bug somewhere else. Well, fix it, i don't really care but i do hope this has a very low priority.

i never wear masks (except warrior helmets, but only in missions or explorables) and so i never dye em. and seeing those masks not match the armor in character selection screen, kinda ruins the look every time. so yes, dont show headgear

any bug thats constantly noticable and annoying should be fixed
