Obsession for orbs - People to lazy to farm.

Wow... I guess people really want orbs.

Maybe some but not everyone. For example I am at work usually about 10 hours a day. When I get home I have a wife and two kids, so when I get to play guild wars it is either for 1 to 3 hours and this veries not to mention all the interuptions. So I will farm for some yes, but I will also probably Buy some as well but then again you never know. I am sure that I am not the only one out there as well so it is not all lazyness.

I don't think in this case it's about lazy. As I just posted elsewhere..these things don't seem THAT easy to come by. I farmed 2 hours straight last night and got 26. That isn't that great, especially if you need a stack (which is pure speculation at this point) to get anything. If drop rates don't increase, or my luck doesn't suddenly become much better...I don't think I'm getting a mask or whatever these are actually going to be used for. I don't blame people for buying them if this is the case. I won't be buying them...but still...

Well, I hope low-level players take note: this is the best opportunity to farm for cash they've had in ages. If you can solo three level 1 mobs you can farm orbs and will easily make a couple of plat an hour farming orbs right now.

Farming is about efficiency, if they find that they can obtain gold faster than they can obtain those orbs then power to them. These event items are also driven by supply and demand, some may be profiting in resale values of the orbs.

In short i dont see anything wrong, less the comment about lazyness.

The orb's are such a joke i mean who the hell want's to buy them for 300-500gc each i mean that's just isanse when you most likeley can get as many as you want tomorow when event start there probaly will be quest that has Orb's as reward

yep and those are the people im relying on so far today i have made 55k from orbs and plan on doin this over the event to increase my cash supply considering im broke atm

Even assassin's have something to farm now

At a side note, 250 for a mask.... Without quests it's a hell to get so much orbs.... but after people discover and READ the article about it: there will be quests (which i think will leave us with +/- 200 of the 250 orbs)

Im doing my best to stop traders from ripping people off. 1k for an orb, now you're asking for it^^.

I would advise those who dont have the time to buy thier orbs to purchase them when the event begins. The prices will plummet with the added events, which will allow you to purchase them from 50-100 gold. And ill be there making sure the prices are at that amount^^.

Ive been sitting in towns, mainly the craze is to get in first, and that's why the orbs are at the 100-500 price range, but that won't be the case if Taiwanese translation is spreading confusion all around...

have an official link for that 250 figure some people are tossing around so freely?

and they are dropping like candy in some areas with 80 in less than 2 hours from some mobs

Im personally very noobish at this game and I am smart enough to realize that 250 when they are going for 500 each that they are obviously going to do something where they give you 100 in a quest or something, and knowing this the lvl 13 noob who got the game this week is farming the front where mantrids are annd getting jade and selling it to lvl 20s for 600 each sometimes. Tommorow someones going to feel like an idiot I have to say

It was stated on either the chinese or taiwanese website (cant remember which) that 250 are required for a mask, along with a description of the mini games and items.
