I found information in Kaineng Center that Captain Rujiyo has gone to investigate some strange events. The NPC that i talked to also said I sincerely hope nothing interferes with his proceedings.

I too have heard the FOW rumor. but I dont theink there are grasps in the FOW or UW are there? It would stand to reason its the tombs. Also I have heard rumors that Canthans can now access the Tombs from Cantha, so. maybe it will take a bit more digging. Plus you KNOW it will be something that low levels can go into just as esily as 20's. So i look for it to be a new area somewhere connected to the tombs... And the new canthan quests mentioned. I am sure they will be there, cause they just had the boss nameing contests a month or so agao...

Cantha Characters can enter the UW and FOW from that campaign. It is in the town you get access to after you complete the temple mission. It is a fairly large town and the Statues are on the opposite side of the merchant and storage. This is the town that you get the quest to meet up with the Danika (i think that is her name).
Edit: I do believe this event doesn't really cross over to the 5th for Americans and those on the North American Continent persay. I am pretty sure I read that the event ends 12am PST July 5th/ 3 a.m EST July 5th. Let me find that link.

Are you guy asking for a NEW FoW or UW or access to the old one? Because you have always been able to get to the old ones from Cantha.
What most likely is happening is either 1) a sorrows furnace type update lead in (I mean after all, the Tombs were a semi-lead into cantha, but...) or 2) a teaser for Ch3 which I beleive is supposed to be called nightfall... pretty "chaos/evil assaulting the world" sounding if you ask me (cont. from but above... more likely a lead into the travel hub that will launch us arround the world to deal with the threats of darkness to the world... I mean, when do we ever get to kick a paladin's ass huh?).

Also, I believe that the event ends on the 5th at mid-night (so really on the 6th)...why else would they tell us that it ends on the 5th. Imagine, someone looks at the main site, sees that it says the event ends on the 5th and says to themselves "Huh, well ok, Ill get my orbs now and come back on the 5th to get the mask and see the big ending!" just to come on the 5th and find out it ended the night before (the reason I added the "big ending" too is so someone can not say 'Well they can still get the masks past the 5th').

how in the name of any diety did they think this was gonna be a fun or rewarding quest? Lets drop 4 lvl 28 baddies just outside the spawn area and sit back and giggle while 4 man groups get their sphincters perferated...

Well that just rules that he's in the game now. Can't wait till I get off work and do that, what sounds like, impossible quest. Keep us poor people who have to work at night updated on what is found, rewards/greens/etc. Thanks!

Yeah the quest is hard compared to most of the faction standard missions.
I went in with a group of four on my Mo/Me and we took it slow got the first rift down and proceeded to the next. Open spaces and the fact that the mobs tended to pop out of the ground and go monks we eventually whiped.
I think it's really unfair of Anet to add this type of mission to a Canthan event when clearly it requires a strong investment in skills obtained only in prophercies.
I didn't mind the run on my monk me as healer another monk as prot and tank and a necro. I thought maybe i'd give it a shot as my warrior but had buckley's of getting a group on account of having to be stance tank with dolyak sig and glads defense.

50 orbs for this LONG and HARD mission. I got more from soloing level 18 yetis. Not worth it at all (unless you really need 50 orbs??)
EDIT: No green drops AT ALL. No chests. If you want to beat it ----> Get an ele, STANCE TANK, monk and MM. The tank should be much more ahead of everyone else to take hits and keep aggro on him. It'll come down to times where you have to run, and make sure you check your map (by pressing "U") to find all the locations of the rifts. But I strongly recommend that YOU DON'T DO this mission, the time factor and rewards are simply not worth it (approx. 1 hr for first timers, you get 50 orbs as your ONLY reward)

Like someone before said, prohecies spell would be so helpful (IE. Illusionary weaponary, hooray with blind, renders warrior to be useless) but it certainly isn't necessary... just gotta take a long time. And is it worth it for the reward which seems to be 50 orbs? I don't know.

As much complaint as there is about the 50 orbs, its possible, maybe even likely, that there will be more quests after this one with better rewards.

I played tank and got to the third rift, but it's pretty hard with a pug. You need expert players to get very far. The odd thing is it is completely limited to high levels, unlike the rest of the events.

This quest has to be a joke. I refuse to believe that anybody at A-Net would put a player through this kind of strain to get such a crappy-ass reward. You get 90 Orbs for killing roughly 10 Grasps of Insanities (level 18 ones, mind you) on a soloable quest, and then you roll into this mission, which is...pretty difficult, kill 15 level TWENTY-EIGHT grasps of insanities, among dozens of other mobs, and it's time-consuming, and you only get 50 Jade Wind Orbs..
There is no logic in the rewards-to-effort ratio on this mission. Even as a stand alone quest, and not comparing to the other quests, the reward is just a piece of crap.
I hope A-Net has some kind of gift to be provided at the end of the festival for completing this headache, otherwise my faith in them is gone. This quest was worthless, and I want the past 2 and a half hours of my life back.

it's still more gratifying to me...i asked for a high level quest, and i got it...i don't care about the reward, not having a good reward just makes it less frustrating when you lose
edit: but yeah, i'm assuming it's a bug that you don't get a quest after this one, there has to be more to this than an insane quest with a crappy reward...i'm sure there's more to it....maybe a green didn't drop, maybe the 2nd quest didnt show up, not sure
