What's up with ranger leather studded dress?

What's up with the ranger's leather studded dress? When your character dies, you can see shes not wearing panties. Instead, it looks like her legs are stuff up into a big block under the leather studded dress.





It's not for censorship. Other characters' dresses don't have this weird dress model. They're all wearing panties underneath. So why do ranger's leather studded dress looks so unrealistic?

Actually you can see the "block" legs with many of the animations the female rangers have. Dancing is one of the worst. The studded leather "skirt" (as it was refered to above) is actually my favorite of the ranger armor. The detail on it (15k version anyway) is pretty nice. Even on the 15k version though the legs vanish into a wierd block.

There's 2 logical answers - Because it saves on polygons and i'm guessing it was made when they had a tighter budget, or that there are loads of 3d thingies on that armour that cause the polycount to rocket.

the rangers legs seems to hav distortion issues w the geometry, so it looks like the put a box under the dress to cover up the booboo...

i still think is looks bad and the should update that armor to look right like the other armors

I agree with you; my favorite ranger armor is the 15k studded and it is there as well. Strange deformations and "block legs".

some of female ritualist armors have the same problem... tight budget i guess...

they charge $50 for an expansion [to existing GW owners] and they have a tight budget??

I love my 15k studded, but yes the skirt is kinda wonky.

The skirt is a "solid" polygon rather than a "form fitting" polygon like a dress.

They treated the skirt more like a piece of hard armor rather than soft armor.

Yes you actually see the notches in the inside of thighs (like a barbie doll) where they rotate at the hip.

I have an answer! it is censorship because the block means they ar not wearing panties!

i cant imagine any other quality video game titles with this kind of dress modeling...
