Noob question: Chat Bubbles

Hi im new to the game.
I really hate the chat bubbles but I Cant find anyway to turn them off.
Please help!

You mean when NPC's go crazy and start chatting? Annoying isn't it...I don't know a way to turn'm off :/

I mean the speech bubbles that come up above people heads when they speak, makes the game look more like a comic book.
They have them in WoW too but there was option to turn them off, I cant find option to turn them off anywhere in Guild Wars

try this:
options (f11)> customize layout> and uncheck dialougue 1 and dialogue 2...

if that doesnt work then .... idk

Yeah I hate those chat boxes. I'd much rather have the text show up in the chat box then have those annoying chat popups come up. I should make a Guild Wars pop up blocker.

But you can move them out of the middle of the screen

Try doing this right as they appear. That was the only way I could get them off. I waited until they popped up and then did the above. Hope this helps.

There is no option to turn it off. And I dont think there ever will be.

The OP is talking about the human player chat bubbles, not NPC chat. I don't think there is a way to turn those off. It would atleast be nice if the team chat didn't popup like that though.

I would really really like it if Anet could add the ability to remove Human chat bubbles.

Press Ctrl+Shift+H......

This gets anoyying in the heat of battle too.

That's what I did and I haven't had chat bubbles since the day of release. Maybe disabling them is bugged now because I never saw them again after that?

I really want to add Mhenlo to my ignore list. Start the petition for removing those stupid dialogue pop-ups. I cannot imagine anyone liking them.

Alt-F4... Works EVERY time. Never fails.
