Petition for Ale

I say Barkeep Mehoro should be an ale merchant. Since al lhe does is sit in Kaineng Center all day doing nothing. And he is a Barkeep after all.
He should sell 3 (or more) different kinds of ale
1.Weak ale <hunters ale> = 1 min being drunk
2.Medium ale = 2 min drunk
3.Strong ale (like spiked eggnog) = 3 min drunk
or even sell shots 5 = 1 min being drunk no item required

i saw him pick his nose one time but i may be wrong i was drunk at the time.

Doesn't he own a bar OUTSIDE of town?

/signed other than the overpriced rice wine the only ale you can get in cantha is .. well, overpriced rice wine... need at least "dwarven ale" style 200g a bottle ale...

the guy owns a bar outside of town hes just in the town to b**** abotu how some guy is messign with his buisness. Id rather much they make a zone going inside a bar, thatd be some wild stuff. Possibly add card games and other parlor games and stuff, id love if they had a bar with tons of gambling where i can lose money.

yeah, and the more munted your screen looks, the higher the chances you have of winning, lol.

ADDED: I would also like to see something stronger then 5 minutes, we all know that drinks are out there that keep you drunk longer then 5 minutes. LETS GET SOME TEQUILA SHOTS BABY!

A barkeep should definitely sell "bar stuff". It would be awesome to see a bar zone where we could drink, gamble, etc... the drunkard title would be a lot more meaningful..

also imagine the Role Playing people could do.

Well, its hard to say. They have definately listened to us in the past, for example, we asked for a toggle helm command, and we got it. We also asked for guild hall upgrades and we got them. But, just because we make a petition, and a bunch of people sign it, doesn't mean that they have to listen. Take for example, the petition for roleplaying districts, that has been around since May '05, and as far as I know we still don't have them.(Although I haven't played in 3 months due to computer issues. So I could be wrong.)

Another example is the character class suggestions. We get so many good class suggestions in this section, but nothing has ever come to fruition. I'd be willing to bet that we never see a player designed character class in game.

So, even though this is a cool, idea, I doubt we'll ever see it happen. At the most we might see him selling ale, but I can bet that we'll never see the bar/tavern areas.

We might incourage kids to start drinking and make frequent bar visits if we made one in Guild Wars and we wouldn't want that would we?

Yeah, and while they're at it they can go hack at some animals with their trusty sword, or go crazy with the lighter fluid + match fireballs.
