I like the barfight idea and I'd like to expand on it a little.

Make it like the little PvP mini games that come around during GuildWars festival occasions. Have everyone have the same set of "drunken skills" and the winners of the barfight can receive some sort of alcoholic drink for it.

And there should be a bouncer outside that doesn't let you in unless you're over level 18.

all i want is for reasonable priced ale looking at the rice wine's price compared to it's and othere "drunk" time id rather go buy dwarven ale for 200 gold and not rice wine for 400 heres how i see it:
Hunters Ale =100 gold (1 min drunk dont want to get you too drunk pn the hunt now do we?)
Rice Wine = 200 gold (2 min drunk fancy dinner drink for the lovely lady?)
Dwarven Ale = 300 gold (3 min drunk and this is because from al lthe stories Dwarves really like ale and have some strong stuff)
Shots = 50 gold (1 min just to keep your drunk going and going and going limit 30 per sitting)

Make him sell 6 packs You would be able to equip these 6 packs in your off-hand and be constantly drunk.

soon enough Assassains will have shots of herouin (however you spell it) on their wrists instead of daggers. We dont want to take this TOO far although a 24/7 wasted mode would be pretty sweet.

Not signed if it's just going to be a carbon copy of Dwarven Ale that he sells. That's pointless.
