You should be able to chose between 48 hours and 5 hours (like in prophecies, prophecies leveling ftw)

every single bit of low level starting area is that much less for the the people who are bringing level 20 chapter ones over.

chapter 3 will have as short (OR SHORTER) time to level 20 as all the additional level 20`s from 1 and 2 come over.

long level ups are a thing of the past so get used to it

Who cares? As you were so fond of saying during all kinds of pre-Factions arguments we had: IT'S A STAND-ALONE GAME. So I guess it's a stand-alone game heavily geared towards owners of another stand-alone game? How odd.

On a different note, I find the vast majority of Factions high-level content to be much more boring than the low level content in Prophecies ever was. The one thing that might just redeem places like the infinitely tedious Kaineng City would be the sense of accomplishment that comes with gaining a new level now and again. Alas, we'll never know.

Technically, characters wouldn't need to be level 20 until they chose to side with the Luxons or the Kurzicks. That's when the PvE game first turns competitive, at which point everyone being at the same maxed out level adds to game balance.

I really hope chapter 3 takes a 180 on the chapter 2 approach.
