yak's bend (dissapeard)

forgive me if i posted this in the wrong place.

i did the nolani academy mission (both)which in turn took me to yak's bend,i got there but when i went back to the game yak's bend is no longer on my map any body got any clues why??

will i have to do the missions again

not sure. try waiting a little while, then log back in.

I've had stuff on my map dissapear sometimes. At least in my case it turned out to be a case of lag or a poor connection.

Going out and back in usualy solved it easily.

just scroll in and out once and it'll come back.

tried that still not there realy is doing my head in !!!

do you still have swords through the missions?...if not it didn't register you having completed them....if you do I'd screenshot it and send it to ArenaNet as it's a bug

Yak's Bend can be hard to find because it's an Outpost and doesn't appear on the zoomed out map. It is north and west of Nolani, zoom in and out traveling that way until you find it. Once you get back to Yak's Bend go into the Arena. That'll be enough to make the Arena appear on your map and it is visible when the map is zoomed out.

more then likely you are just not looking in the right spot for it. This happened to a newb I was helping lastnight.

I vote for this as the answer. It is tough to see if you don't know where to look.

PS. Please try to at least get the spelling in your thread title correct.

Did you warp out of Yak's Bend? If not you should still be in Yak's Bend. By then if Yak's Bend doesn't appear on the zoomed in map, I'd say it's a problem.

If you've warped out of it, do what Auntie I said.

oops sorry about the spelling(disappeared)anyway just to let you know i did manage to find it in the end i followed Auntie I advice,

a good trick for not loosing yaks bend is to enter its arena this will show a red spot next to yaks bend
