Thanks

well i am the master at this build, if you have a lot of time and want to perfect it, get a protective icon with +1 protection skills(20% chance) [guy is outside lions arch and inbetween asc settlement and LA that gives one for scalps] and get a focus with -20 hp to wear after you cast. for attributes, use 16 prot, 10 smite, 13 healing (for mending to be +4) and divine favor 6 (blessed signet). use the +1 prot icon so you get a 17 protection with that icon and cast protective bond and you will only lose 1 hp when its on you. switch to the focus item with -hp to get your hp to 80 or lower. then which is a really annoying skill to get, get Aura of the Lich to make your hp to 40. you should only take 2 damage and get a regen of 8 life per second. use your smiting prayers and you can kill just about anything and each time you get hit by non mesmer/monk staffs, you get 1 energy. its my perfected build that took forever to get the items for T.T

[quote="Silmor"]My main problem with this sort of farming is using protective bond on artificially low max health. I don't believe the skills (protective bond/protective spirit) were intended to be used in that fashion - double digit (or even single digit) max health is just unnatural. I wouldn't mind a nerf on those two skills to include a minimum damage cap to prevent them reducing damage too much.

Just answer me this
How more fun can a game be after you have finished it if you cannot farm?
I mean, there is no purpose to play the game after you finish it, only if you want to have best armor/weapon in game to use in GvG or something but how are you going to get those items? Play the missions over and over to get items? I don't think so.
ArenaNet should never do anything about skills. They created it, tested it and then they released it because they thought the skills were good to go. Now you think they should change them? Don't think so...
If you think that this build is easy, then create the same one and start farming the H*** UP! :P

too bad ANET decides to go the way of reducing fun, instead of reducing grind...
oh and the skills are perfectly balanced (well better then in most games, for sure) - its just that mobs are too dumb to adjust to players, so ANET uses "cheap necro / mesmer mobs" everywhere stragegies to stop farming ... even more fun then the usual "kill mob, move to exactly same mob further ahead" mission design ...
