Weird things that ive noticed
Andy of Glacieria
OK, I've noticed some weird things in GW lately.
1. Let an enemy die by a condition, am almost SURE that he'll drop something
2. If u try to salvage or ID an item and it says 'u've fought too recently to do that' and then successfully salvage it ur gonna get a suckier material or lose an upgrade
3. Some enemies fight eachother, today I saw trolls and avicaras fiercely fighting eachother. I thought that was weird and tried to merge them, I lured a bunch of trolls to the avicaras. They all started attacking me as if they were allies. Usually PCs aren't a top priority between NPCs.
Has anyone else noticed this or anything weird(er)? Confirm or deny the stuff above, is it all true or am I wrong?

I've noticed number 3... I've also noticed it with Ettin and Caromi (relatives of Avicara)
Myself... I think that the Avicara and their less civilized cousins the Caromi are an intelligent species more sophisticated and peace-oriented than humans... after all, who is invading who's territory here? I have a great respect for Avicara, they are easily the enemy I fear the most in the game and the enemy that wipes out the entire party the most often... this includes m-rs--t and the w----m-----.

I notice number three all the time, even within species sometimes. Some are intentional like gargoyles and Charr hate eachother. But within species, I think it just might be a glitch.

not really in snake dance some blessed griphons have the urge of killing stone summit beasts if they get to close to eachother and the griphon whil cast a skill on himself like holly wrath whell then hes asking for it lol
ooh and azure shadow whil kill stone summit dwarves and more

I think this is actully cool, #3 I use all the time when I need to rush to the next Coop, the best Monster vs Monster fight is at the Bergen Hot Springs last time I lured 10 ettins to follow me and they actully clear out most of the undead population for me.
and #1 is actully quite common if I farm with my Sword Warrior and use bleeding the monster drop more then when I farm with my Hammer warrior.

Nothign funnier then seeing different members of the Stone Summit fighting each other on some missions

Lost
On the Thunderhead Keep mission I was able to keep some Stone Summit troops alive and still trigger the Mursaat coming. The Stone Summit mob killed off several White Mantle mobs for me before they were eventually beaten by the Mursaat.

Those grawl in Regent Valley is actually opposing factions. I believe the "opposers" usually are called something like "Grawl Heretic" and some sort of grawl priest, cant remember their name. They always tend to fight each other, looks intentional.
Torkemada
If i recall correctly from the beta weekends, mobs fighting mobs was one of the many things GW was bringing to be "diferent" from other online games.
I think its actually pretty cool, it makes the scenery more alive, instead of walking mobs that dont atk each other just cos they are all "mobs".

Avicara fighting trolls is great. If u have an elementalist with u, throw a couple of AOE spells on them and watch em fall.

If anyone has been to the fissure of woe you will see battles there between skeletons and shadow people ie (rangers/warriors/eles etc)

One thing that sucks though is the patched some Monsters vs. Monster fight. At ember lighting camp the hyrdras used to kill the Mursaat Tower for me, after the recent update the actully work together now. So not all fights are intentionaly.
Shadowdaemon
i once used the ghosts from the bonus in nolani mission to kill the charr by the city, the ghosts own charr any day
Fye Duron
All over the place there are opposing mobs. Especially in the desert. I use to force the tribes to fight during the ascention missions.
Disoblige
GW are trying to make the mission area more interactive. It feels so linear.

speaking of weird events, i was doing the ruins of sermia mission and i had unlimited uses of my res signet! I think i used it 5 times during that one mission cuz the henchies kept dying.
Arvydas
#3 i noticed it with wolves and bandits in pre-searing.

do those worms attack the elementals intentionally or it attacks both you and the elementals while you're fighting?

Today i saw some white mantle guys killing a warthog! A WARTHOG I TELL YOU!
I was so angry that they would harm such a neutral thing that i burned them to a crisp with lots and lots of fire.

yes, i have seen trolls fight with the minetaurs, yet when i went around this group say good job to myself i was confronted with a goup of cows spawned in hell and then the trolls showed up. I thought that this would provide an excellant time to put my sandles to use in a quick retreat. As i layed on the ground, i swear i heard them talking about how to best prepare me for dinner. I thought it was from too many sleepless hours.

BTW, who gets the exp when the mobs fight lol? I think if you kill some mobs fighting each other and you finish some then the exp is for you?
Totally off-topic (but not that much, also some NPC stuff) henchies could take the droped money too, at least they share their part when I take it (sometimes far away ones from others)

That would probably be because the rez signet recharges when you kill a boss or otherwise get a morale boost. |

I don't think henchmen interfere with money drops - I see a much higher ratio of money to items when I'm with henchmen, and it actually surprises me to see how infrequently pure cash drops when I'm farming. Maybe one mob (if that) per group drops cash; and that's all you see when the henchmen are taking 7 of every 8 item drops :P
It's all a perception thing.

Yeah I noticed number Two and number Three. Not sure about the first one tho
