Superior Strength Question

Superior Strength how many attributes ?
I added a superior strength rune to a wyvern Helmet
Helmet = +1 Strength
Superior Strength rune should be 3 right ? 1 minor- 2 maj- 3 sup ?

I have a 4 in Strength--so i add the Wyvern Helmet (with Sup Strength) and i get a total of 7 Strength.

Can someone explain why this doesnt bring my Strength to a total of 8 ?

I'd say then that the Wyvern Helm bonus and the Superior Str Rune aren't stacking. Looks like the Rune is over-riding the Helm bonus and not stacking like you'd hoped for.

Superior Strength Rune = +3 Strength & -75 health.

I am almost completely sure that Runes will stack with Helmets. Otherwise, how could you get 16 to an attribute? You probably added up your points incorrectly.

Hats(helmets) have always stacked with runes, and still do.

You are probably adding the bonus from your helmet to your base attribute twice.
Try hovering the mouse over the number next to strength. It should be in blue. It will tell you what the base number in that attribute is and should tell you it's been modified by +4. My guess is your base attribute is a 3, +1(hat) and +3(superior rune).

The other way to check is to remove the helmet altogether.

If you're still having problems, then it's most likely a bug and you should report it to Arena Net ASAP.
