why my ignore list is far longer than my friends list

Threre are 3 kinds of people I meet in GW. There are the talkative cats who are great to party with and lots of fun. There are those who get the job done and don't really say much. And there are those who are complete idiots and must have been inbred for about 3 generations back to achieve this monumental stupidity.

The fact of the matter is, most people go in the first group. A significant number go in the second and hardly any other go in the third. So how does this make my ignore list longer? Simple, I have no need of a friends list since my actual friends are in my guild and 90% of the other players are reasonably safe to play with. After several months of gaming my ignore list is longer.... with only 1 person in it.

I leave people on my ignore list and then take them off in a week or so...so far, it has worked quite well

Useally bad tensions cool down and maybe after a DAY or so you can remove them because they don't bother you anymore... I dunno just a thought

My ingore list is also longer than my friends list (9 on friends 32 on ingore 17 added after update today.)

EDIT: I would love to remove people after a day or even a week but every time I have the person comes back and starts bugiing me again.

I've yet to find a use for my ignore list. Nobody goes on it. Nobody bothers me. Although, there's dozens on my friend list.

I have never used my ignore list at all, but I think maybe a few have put my name down in theirs, I don't know why but the idiots never seem to bother me. They lose interest within 5 minutes. So I don't need to bother.

Because there are more idiots than normal people in GW.

Not 1 person on my ignore list ever in 3 years of GW. Its not much of a problem ever anyway, but when I decide to ignore someone I actually ignore them. Works well for me. The ignore list is more of an in your face thing imo.

9 people on my ignore list atm.

I do fit into the first category of people so noone is in there for calling me a noob or such.
All of them are scammers from runs....

I think sometimes I put people on my ignore list when they don't do anything to directly bother me, but are just that special brand of knuckle-dragging retarded that makes me want to take the initiative. People who say "scrub" and think it offends people, for one.

I agree with the above groups, though you can split the silent group into ones that get the job done and ones that have no idea what's going on.

only 3 people are on my ignore list (and they should be ejected from the game not just ignored)....lots of people on my friends list---though more than half of them are never on any more.....actually I think that there are only a few people on my friends list that still even play-----------

some really stupid people goes into my ignore list...for example, there was blinding mesmer in RA. We lost match against them (9th cons ), and he started pming me with something like "lHAHAHA noob, like the blind?!!!1!" bla bla bla..so I put him on ignore list for while...just hate that kind of players

My friend's list is constantly full though.

My ignore list is maxed out at all times, as is my friends list.

my ignore list is in my head, putting somone on ignore usually only achieve what they wish, simply disregarding their comments is so much more irritating to them generally.

People who try to scam me usually end up on my ignore list so i know if i meet them again. But since chances are really small to meet them after a month or so i usually delete them from the list.

Same goes to friends i played toghether only for a short while. No use to keep them on the list.
