EDIT Forgot the important bit. Senility creeping in already. The only thing I use my ignore list for, is blocking the spambots, on the odd occasion I want to make sense (oxymoron?) of local chat. I have accidentally ignored friends before though.

There are 3 on my ignore list and they all went "above and beyond the call of duty" to get there. I usually just stop replying to someone and they get bored and leave me alone in 2-3 min. General rule of thumb is to let the idiots have the last shot - it makes them feel better about their miserable prepubescent lives and it lets me get on with what I have to do that much quicker. lol In most cases (PVE at least) if you are polite and respectful you don't have problems with the other players. (that's my exp anyhow)

I rarely use my ignore list, there's not much point because it only holds 10 people and chances are you'll piss someone off who has more than 10 friends, thereby negating the ability to truly ignore them anyway.

My friends list has always been longer then my ignore list. Since ANET fixed the bot issue I have not added a single person so I probably just need to delete the list except one person (person I kicked from the guild for acting like the typical person you see in Guild Wars).

i think there seems to be an overwhelming amount of r-tards out there, because it is easier to remember the idiot who is over aggroing or drawing dicks on the compass as opposed to the tank who is holding great aggro or the ace monking going on in the group. as for the iggy list i have never used it in 2+ years....if im getting flammed in game i will dish it back out or just ignore them, which the latter generaly seems to be more effective. alot of the times tho if im getting flammed i just challenge them to a duel, which usually sorts out the shit then and there....if they are truly noobile then they usually shut up and move on...if they think they have moderate 1v1 abilities then its back to my hall for a whoopin'.

pvp players tend to have more ppl on ignorin list i suppose, encountered alot of those immature players start trash talkin and then put u on the ignore list in ra.

My ignore list is actually empty. I guess I just suck at making enemies. I think I've only put like 3 people on there EVER, all of which were just morons who were spamming inconsequential shyte in local chat while I was trying to talk to other people in that outpost.

I've only got like 10-15 people on my friends list though.

I've only ever added a few people to my ignore list though Prince Rurik who is a long standing honorary member. The ones I have added have usually been removed after a while and I've never had any of those start up again later.

My friends list often get maxed with friends and buyers/sellers I need to contact, when that happens people on ignore tends to get booted off the list

Here is my friends list, I have 0 on my ignore list. My friends are always their when I need them, they never ask for anything, and they all do what I ask without question. If you get a friends list like this I would bet your ignore list would become much smaller very fast.

My ignore list has about 2 in it at the moment I believe. After a week or so, I boot them off.
