Drawing on the map

I hate this gaile sense of mentality that a lot of you have. Have you ever seen a penis? I for one have! So, there for, I'm a mature person and I don't get offended when someone draws one on the map. I'm sure your son has seen a penis too! And I'm sure your daughter hasn't seen a penis and there for doesn't know what's even being drawn on the map! Last and not least, The person in your party was actually drawing a rocket, not a penis.

They will usually draw 2 circles and do a becon point in each. I do wish they color code or have the name light up in a special way to see who's drawing. It's imature but I do live with it.

if you ignor them they usually stop if they dont stop deal with it its not a big deal its just like when people tell me to stop cussing and i yell at them that they are just words its not like the next time i say @#$% a demon will pop out and eat you....

I still don't understand how you can get offended. Did a gang full of boobs and penises burn your house down when you were a kid? and now you're to forever hate anything shaped like them? Honestly get some maturity people.

You're still apparently quite young. Spawn a couple kids and be responsible for their upbringing... it changes your perspective on things.

If you think your child is never going to see a penis or a boob, You're wrong. In any case these aren't boobs or penises at all. they're shapes, how you choose to look at them is completely up to you. For example this is how I look at them.

As for what my kids see and learn, I prefer to have the option of introducing certain things at my own pace and in an intellectual manner.

I completely agree, But unless you keep your children locked in the house all day, They won't hear it from you first. No matter how much you want them to, Unless you start now. What offends someone is purely subjective which is why it's stupid to have a non automated way of dealing with what's offensive. The way arenanet does it is truly horrible but hey, people love it because in this day and age, morons rule. In any case back on topic. They're shapes, drawing shapes shouldn't be a bannable offense ever, but since what's logical and ethical really doesn't come to ones mind when voicing ones opinion anymore I'm sure something like this will be implemented, and some time in the near future people will have their 50-70 dollar accounts closed because they drew a rocket, banana, or waffles and berries, and poor little oh you just couldn't stand it happening.

I suppose I should clarify one thing, I don't find the drawings offensive in any way. Just rediculously childish. That's the type of behaviour ten year olds engage in under the covers with a flashlight; it really doesn't belong in the game. Perhaps I have a lower level of tolerance for this degree of childishness and should relax a bit, but I am who I am.

More so, a banana with oranges, Or a space rocket with big thrusters, In any case they're shapes, not penises. There's no "you must be this mature to ride the guildwars train" in the eula, There is however a "don't offend anyone else" in the eula, which is completely stupid. If you stand by someone in my guild when I'm trying to invite them to my party you offend me. If you talk in the chat when I'm trying to talk to someone else you offend me. If you do something stupid in pve or pvp you offend me. Yet jee whiz all of these ----ing people aren't banned yet, What an outrage. How you choose to accept things is completely up to you. Before you start a party ask everyone you invite if they're mature or not. That's fine, It's a computer game rated E, or T, or whatever it's rated, expect to have immature people playing the game, and being on the internet for that matter. It's a computer game, nothing serious. People draw shapes you don't like and you think that gives you the right to terminate their 50-70 dollar account, It's just complete crap. Where do you people get off. What is offensive is subjective, remember that. What doesn't offend you or you wouldn't even dream of offending someone else May, and in the same case it's back at you. Get over it, Unless someone is actually hurting you, you don't have a right to complain. It's times like this that make me wish there were two servers. One for people who get offended by things over the internet, and a server with people who don't.

the draw function is for quick and easy tactics, not a 5 year old's game of pictionary

Hmmm, If it isn't hurting you, Why in the ---- should anyone have to refrain from drawing whatever shapes they feel like on the mini map, Hmmm? Sure you don't feel it belongs in the game, But I feel that a lot of things/people don't belong in this game either, but I don't complain about it or expect it to be removed.

Because I'm not nice? Where did this come from? Every chance I get I do something nice for people. If I go to a low level area with my level 20 character, and someone is having truoble with a mission, I help them. If someone is trying to find collector item's, I give them the items for free. If I see someone having trouble affording the ascalon armor, I give them 5k to purchase it. I give 20k+ gold to my friends if they ask. You could argue that I'm rich, but I only have 50k right now. I've never even bought something over 20k for myself. Only one 20k item.

I do what I can to help people, but then, when I draw on the mini map for 5 seconds I am accused of being mean? Thanks for being so judgemental.
