For me, summit hammer is #1. (and mursaat hammer is NOT a close second. Mursaat is a fork to poke your enemy with).
Also Anet should add summit hammer to the PvP only selection. The current pvp selection for hammer is ugly.

There isn't really any "hammer" looking hammer out there, I think warhammer is the closest one, but I don't like the look.
Completely off-topic: hammer can be one-handed weapon as well; if you can see people holding a hammer on right hand and other accessories (nails, for example) on the other hand and chasing other people down, then I don't see why this can't happen on GW.

Actually, mursaat hammer doesn't really look like a hammer. It looks more like a fancy fork which you poke your enemy with. It doesnt look right swinging it like a hammer. I'm taking it off my list.

I picked up a hammer that had like two heads on it, one under the other and that looked pretty cool. I don't remember the name of it. I never use hammers but I have it in storage.
By the way, that one with the spikey bits... how can that be classified as a hammer. Looks more like a giant mace.

I liked the Righteous Maul I had for a while back. It basically looks like a shiny brick on a stick... nothing fancy, just a blunt object to smack things with. Nothing says "style" like a hammer IMO.

Anyone remember the maul that the Paladins used in Warcraft III?
I want one of them. All these other hammers are nuthin' next to that maul. Longer handle, heavier head, swung further with greater force and it looked for all the world like they were aiming for the head.
