I've been around GW for a bit and i've noticed some GOD AWFUL guild names and tags. I'm about tired of guild tags like 'noob', 'omg', 'lol','wtf'...&c.

We beat War Machine once. It was a happy day for BOOM.
I don't see what is wrong with actual acronyms. What I did to decide my guild name (I was founder) was make the biggest list of 4 letter words that would be neat ever. Then I made actual acronyms to fit them. We had many ideas like The Awesome Guild [TAG], Fully Alleged Gangstas [just guess... haha], Beasts Among Men [BAM], and many others. We thought these were actually good names compared to things like War/Mos of Ascalon! [rofl].

Many of the original members of our guild were members of another guild. The leader went a little crazy, and started kicking people out of the guild for one frivolous and ridiculous reason or another. One of the officers got kicked for being 'lazy', even though apparently that officer had donated quite a sum of gold to the guild.
I may not have all the details quite right on that, since I was never a member of the other guild.
The officer decided to form his own guild, hench Carefree Drunks. Some of the folks either kicked or irritated by the other guild joined ours. The name reflects are general attitude; the game is for enjoying, not guild politics. We're not into rules, we're into enjoying the game.

Our guild was formed in early may, but has grown slowly since we wanted quality players. Since we've gotten a guildhall, we have enjoyed a modest influx of new players. It's very exciting to begin moving into the PvP arena since all we've done previously is PvE, which I love too!
