What hurts even more is I got the stupid minor runes off no problem, it was just that one rune that did that...and ya, changed my monk to a 600ish build and lost 2 of the ruins (got feathers from one of them...), but thank god they arn't going for 20+k now lol.

If I remember correctly, I got ~70 wood planks off a pretty valuable "Highly Salvageable" bow, when I was farming Trolls this past summer. I think it was 68, I'll look for a screen when I get home...

Got 67 wood from a raven staff once. Got 10 steel from a wingblade also.

Isn't it true that 1 in like a bazillion demonic remains salvage into an ecto? Never had that happen. Anyone? myth or reality? O.o I MUST KNOW!

However, my best salvage was by far a bone cesta. 70 bones FTW. :O
