Update – Wednesday, August 10
Fixed a bug that was making some desert teleporters unresponsive.
Corrected flaw in Price of Failure skill that was causing missile attacks to miss their targets more than 25% of the time.
Corrected Hundred Blades skill to deal damage accurately; previously it was dealing only 75% of its intended damage.
Corrected Mind Freeze skill so that damage is dealt regardless of whether the caster's energy is lower than the target's energy.
Corrected flaw in Mist Form skill that was preventing it from reducing damage from elemental damage attacks.
Corrected "The Price of Steel" quest so that so that White Mantle always drop Ruined Armor for players on the quest.
Fixed a bug that was preventing the skill-swap dialog from disappearing after talking to Captain Greywind.
Fixed several rare client and server crash bugs.

Although, ironically, I had encountered the Greywind glitch like yesterday.

Heh, i thought they had tricked us and threw in a surprise update...lol, i wish.
So price of failure gets nerfed and hundred blades gets a boost. Price of failure is a necro skill i believe...poooor necro's heh.

maybe hundred blades is GOOD now

The teleporters are fixed, and I got stuck on one side of one because of this yesterday...
I noticed to prince of failure bug on my ranger. I was baffaled at missing roughly 75% of my attacks.
Finally the price of steel quest can be done with other people. Not that it's very difficult with henchmen, but...
And I also recently had a problem with Captain Greywind too.
Lots of good bug fixes here for me.

Aha, I knew it! I knew something was wrong with hundred blades.
ManaCraft
Pfft, and still no fix for all the UW farming.
Nice landing, wrong airport.

I agree with manacraft 100%
These fixes would be great any other week, but with the multitude of problems that we have now, i would have rather had a fix on the farming/dyeprices/economy in general

Not a bug, no reason to fix.
There are people on both sides of the fence on that.

Omfg, they made mist form work like it's supposed to. I'm so happy now!

The merchant in Druid Overlook also has/had this bug.

I just noticed that for PvP characters the "Such and such damage while health is above 50%" is now 20%+ damage. It seemed like before that it was always 15%+.
Or was this always here?

Phades
Dark fury still appears to describe giving +C3587 after attack in the description though, whatever that means.

I just had a download...in my pants!! But I can't figure out what bug was fixed. Har!
Lord Malikai
Back in Beta Hundred Blades actually read, "Deal 2 hits with -25% damage" or something to that sort. I noticed it did not say that when the game was released and just thought it had been forgotten since the skill still sucked monkey feces. Does it do full damage now ?
Makkert
Well, fixing skills to work as they are intended is ALWAYS good.
but this makes me ask myself: does this mean that Nature's Renewal works as intended?
the fixed skills i heard practcly nothing about. NR is moaned heavily upon, yet not adjusted...

Perhaps there is plenty of ways to counter it, perhaps it is balanced, yet we haven't figured out how yet and the devs are laughing at us for being so slow...

We are, however, aware of possible balance issues that have been raised on the forums. As was indicated in James Phinney's recent State of the Game letter we're currently working on several balance adjustments, and we'll announce our plans soon.

Yes indeed Matt. I used to totally avoid those damned bog thingies because of that spell.
Soloing them with a non AoE character was never a good idea but maybe now we will be able to hit them
The update sounds good from what i've seen.

Ah...so I see. thanks for clearing that difference up Alex.

Or something like that.
Well it annoyed me, anyway. Of course, now that they're finally fixed I can't enjoy it because my connection itself is having problems now. The Laws of Sod are against me, dagnamit.

But at least it helped me know I could count to 4 correctly. ("Miss 1...Miss 2...Miss 3?!?...Miss 4?!?!?")

please don't nerf the hell out of Nature's Renewal simply to appease the player base that's too lazy to develop a decent work around. I love watching them cry about it

Algren Cole, MSecorsky, please post a comprehensive, proven-concept (actual relevant practical experience) counter to Nature's Renewal that is light enough to be carried without gimping your team, so that people will be discouraged to run Nature's Renewal in their teams any longer.
If you can't, or simply don't bother with PvP in the first place, please refrain from posting on subjects you don't know anything about. Your posts are insults to those who spent many hours documenting and discussing what they perceive is an imbalance in the game, you know, presenting actual arguments, experiences and insights.
I find it incredible how you can call them lazy when you're just sitting on the side, don't bother to try to understand their arguments but just dismiss them with 'haha, you're not smart enough', and not present any form of constructive suggestion on how to counter it.

Attached is a list of all the skills that spamming Nature's Renewal effectively renders useless. If you do not think the spamming of one skill shutting down 132 other skills is a balance issue, or better yet, a severe detriment to versatility in the play environment, you are supporting a game environment in which 25% of the total available skills are not an option. Thank you for playing.

exactly ... I mean at the current state ... recast times on some of those hex removal skills are terrible ... okay enchant reval is bad but manageable but then you have about 12% of your teams skill bar set to enchant removal ... and thats alot.
Silmor
NR and the lack of decent enchantment removal are two problems that both need addressing. Just because some other problem will become more apparent once an initial problem is fixed doesn't mean the best course of action is to just sit on your hands. There's many threads detailing this exact dual issue.

Just to clarify though, you're talking about the all ranger team tucked into their spirits castle or no?

I won't miss Nature's Renewal one bit in that case. I'll be too busy cheerfully introducing that team to the magical land of Shatter and Rend Enchantments.
