LOL - that's not the point. I don't mind the chat - but the specifics of each of these messages are what's ill-conceived. Just read them and you'll understand what I mean.
e.g. the shield is a collector's item - but ppl are trying to sell for 35k and up

So they try and sell crap for high prices. Not understanding the time/profit equasion you should make when trying to make money. Nor doing any research to the actual worth of items, in player trading market.
(WTB is so much more effective then WTS)
Also i can have a bit of sympathy for the last sentance.
It sometimes really is frusterating to get a healer or protector in your group.

I almost feel like... if they -have- to advertise their guild... it must not be that good? In our guild, its composed of people who we have partied with in quests/missions, and we know them to be reliable players. I'd be terrified of a random person joining the guild and screwing up our guild rank (not that it's any good, but its the principle of the matter...).

Ha, ToA when the US doesn't have favor is the best place to go to vent your frustrations. I blew 1.5hrs there telling people to stop organizing groups for UW/FoW, people kept asking for a group...
Me and about 5 other people turned the district into a flamefest. People were arguing about UAS (thanks to me), while others were complaining about why the Koreans suck. It's great to know that when you have nothing to do, you can go to ToA when Korea has favor and just make fun of people who don't even understand they can't enter ToA.
I mean, come on, the giant statue isn't on fire, what else could that possibly mean?

It's not easy finding people that will join and stay and to find those who aren't just trying to syphon gold out of you.

After that, things sorta deteriorated when a warrior came up and started complaining about how "invincible" us monks are. After I proceeded to tell him that an in-depth description of our weaknesses would flood the chat screen, the monks started complaining about NR and other stuff.
I left soon after.

Just once, I'd like to see a guild with florescent pink capes advertise "recruiting for guild, we have leet capes of doom!" Heh...I sorta want a pink cape...can you imagine being killed by someone in PvP who's wearing a hot pink cape? >_>

Being a leader of the guild, I want to mission with people to find out if they are good or not, but 98% of the people that i like end up being guilded already. I hate recruiting in !all, and I'm not doing ti anymore, all I get are idiots that want money or whatever. If you are cool and layed back, please leave your crappy guild now, one of these days I will roll with you, and you can join mine =)
