Monk 105/55 builds nerfed YAY
Chain Lightning (spike teams) nerfed YAY
A-Net you are wonderful listeners to your loyal unexploiting fans. Now I look forward to just one more nerf and that is the runners to Droknars and then back to the newbie arenas. You've practically fixed all the major problems in one fell swoop and pretty darn fast too I might add. Thank you once again. I look forward to purchasing you expansion now.
I must say this is a great site too. It seems to have the largest population of all those I have visited so I'm pretty sure A-Net got a lot of material from this site so I will continue to post my "concerns" about the future of the game and the next needed nerfings here.
Now I can go find a group cause there will be an abundance of monks to play with now once they fix their builds back to what they should be, nice "healing monks" for my gaming pleasure. hehe

Not really, those who made Monks specifically to copy the 105 netbuild are probably going to switch to War/Mo to farm now.

your happy y? how did the changes affect you? Why could you not have taken advantage of distinct advantages of the profession? You sit there and really have no idea how this effects the game. lets all play the same class and do the same thing. Watch prices go up as good farming grinds to a halt. All my pve guild is happy, a lot of the skill changes have benefitted us too. (namely my pyro and the guild's blood necro). Also interestingly made us rethink builds. I've gone to the extent of changing secondaries even!

2 Monks can easily do the uw by themselves. So the monk biuld isn't 100% nerfed

There's actually quite alot of good farming that the monk can do without prot bond.
The prot bond nerf didn't really do that much except for annoy a few people and make a spell utterly worthless as a running enchantment.
I deleted my UW soloer; I just didn't want to fool with it anymore

NR is completely worthless now. A few Rangers (myself included) came up with a dominating build that owned most people in PvP, enough cried and whined about it because they couldn't think outside their normal builds to counter it, and now Anet nerfs it. Complete tunnel vision.

The idea behind pvp was a group pvp idea, it wasn't meant for just one or two classes or skills to dominate the pvp world and that is what was happening, not to mention just annoying as hell with hundreds of spirits out there being spammed. Now a duplicate will just kill the first one, perfect, simply perfect. Now, rangers will fall back into what they should be; a support unit, not the king of the hill of the PVP world. More things will fall into place with more balancing nerfs in the future and more and more people will enter and enjoy PVP once again.
So the 55 monk build is still working you say? Ok A-Net will need to remove or take away the -50hps on that quest icon and that will take care of that. Give it +30hp's like most of the others. hehe

You will hear a lot of complaining about the adjustments made in this build, but to be honest I think it's for the best. ANet isn't perfect, but I'm sure they considered the good of the game as a whole rather than just listening to the pro-nerf whiners on this board. Look at their changes as objectively as you can and I think most of you will realize that they are in the interests of balance.
I also believe that if something is too powerful, it's best to swing the mighty nerf bat than to try to upgrade the rest of the skills to par. A change to one skill is easier to tweak than a change to many skills. Simple logic.

The Drok's run has been made marginally more difficult with the addition of one more worm, but we did it last night so it's still do-able. Anyone else confirm a new worm?

Also remember that one build alone is not supposed to 'own most people in PvP'. Otherwise everyone would be running it...and that would be boring, yes?
Give Anet a chance as they have ensured not EVERY single character has to sacrifice vital parts of their build just so they could try to suceed under NR.

Nope, scaled accordingly. Galrath slash still does +32 damage at 12. I think 15 is now the useable max. So prot bond is absolutely nerfed.
NR was so powerful before it was elite as a normal status. It made almost 1/3rd of all skills USELESS. With 1/3rd of the skills screwed, don't ya think it's just a tiny bit too powerful? It still works, i can see it going very well vs a maintained enchantment party. Absolute energy deprivation.

This "nerf" doesn't really affect anyone that wasn't using the cookie cutter forum build....everyone else will figure out a new build.

Natures Renewal, as it stands right now, is STILL the number one way of destroying persistent enchants and make enchantment removal skills like Rend Enchants much more valuable.

I think calling the Monk Build and the Spirit Spamming "creative builds" is pretty laughable...there's not much creativity to it at all. What's even sadder is someone who becomes so dependant on only one type of build to do only one type of thing that they can't seem to comprehend trying anything different...to me, that sounds like uncreativity.

Yeah guess the recharge time change was mainly slowing the skill spammers and mostly rangers do the skill spamming. Did like the quick shot build though, its nice to see rapid firing.
I for one do like the pet changes, wanted to use pets long back but didn't because of their weakness. Anyone got any data on how beastmatery attribute affects the pet? In terms of strength that is.
Changes to ele spells were nice, meteor recharge time could have been reduced slightly though to 20s.
