Ecto Price drops to 9k

but how much does the trader pay if you try to sell them to him??
coz i want to know a good price to buy them from people...

last i checked the trader paid 7.5k for them

almost nobody will sell for 500 gold above what the trader offers them.. they will wait to find a buyer for 500 gold less than the traders price.. that is how in demand crap is sold player>player

but the price dropped, so they HAVE to sell them at lower prices...!
...well... i suppose they don't have to....

I think they should sell for a little over the trader(sell back) price, but not at full.

You know I complainined that the only way to get anything is to solo, and that groups do not get crap at all! One person might get a good score, but that is it!

As for whether or not drops were increased in groups, remains unsure. I seen some people get some things, but nothing that was not too great. In fact, the majority of the time it is almost a waste of gold to goto the FOW or UW. You might get something like a max fiery dragon sword! Who does not have one of those?

As for the ecto price going down. Anet could have lowered it expecting ppl to raise it by not selling. It is 8.5k but sold out most of the time which means that it is not 8.5k if someone wants it. Some people did sell off lots of ecto. Black dye was 39k remeber? The next day it was 8k. The adjust prices too much.

And I assume you have never seen this happen? Try going to a Material Trader and Buy 10Globs of Ecto or 10 of anything anymore; there not listed, only common ones are there nowa days. they never said "changed Material Trader to only sell these items blah blah blah" there has always been a minimum for higher up materials.

And ecto just happens to be 9,000g; or it dissapears from the listing.

so some one bought 8.5K each? id like to see screen shots of this.

I bought 2 ectos for 8k each a week ago or so. Price dropped and, surprisingly, the invinci-monk nerfing didn't create the inflation I expected.

I really dont see the price decline as a bad thing. All it means is that people are selling ectos to the Trader for a quick ammount of money.

Thus as the trader gets more ectos, the price goes down. If this continues, the farmers will be doing the rest of the community a great service by providing cheaper methods of getting their own Fissure armor.

It is true that the posted price for ecto has not increased. It is because it is programmed not to. Unlike the black dye market that bottomed out, price caps were put in place. People do not understand that Anet have taken out ecto speculation. You see 9k at the merchant but he has none to sell. You see people selling it off, but people are not willing to buy it because the merchant selles it cheaper when he has it. They jedi mind tricked you.
