You also had a guy in another thread recently give away a functioning key to a guy who'd "mistakenly" bought an account obtained by credit card fraud. Fishy fishy fishy.

numa, it was a 10-hour free trial key. also i did "mistakenly" buy a cd-key which i had thought was perfectly legal. the credit card fraud part was nothing I or the seller of the item had to do with, it was the original seller who sold the account to the person who sold it to me on ebay.

fraud scam artist > seller > me.

if you want proof along with paypal records and e-mail transcripts, I will gladly provide them, but before you go off with this BS slander, PLEASE get your "facts" right.

I would never trust buying anything online. I never do.

I just suck it up, work for money, or beg, which ever comes first, and go to Fry's.

And even then it'll only take that long if the person chose a password that isn't a known word in the english language. If they chose a password that contains letters and numbers, is the maximum length allowed by Guild Wars, and doesn't contain any known words, then it might, MIGHT, take as long as you said.

Just thought I'd include my 2 cents.

This is somewhat true. If you're using a password list(a list of words loaded into the program and then checked sequentially) it's either hit or miss and most often you miss. If you're using a true brute force cracker the cracker will start at "aaaaaaaaaa" and move the last letter up one in the alphabet until it hits "z" then go back to "a" and push the second number up until it hits "z" and continue this for the length of the password. It could theoretically take Zillions of years to check a 10 charlength password at this rate.

I hate the fscking feedback system. So now I just throw my junk away instead of selling it on ebay to someone who might need it, or I just give it to someone I know who needs it. There is no way I am gonna waste time buying and selling lots of itty-bitty items to build up feedback so I can sell something worth selling without people moaning I have 0 feedback - it's because I'm new to this!!

And how are they gonna brute-force without knowing your e-mail addy. Looks like social enginnering FTW. Or that program will have a keylogger in it and pwn anyone using it, and that would serve them right.
