Sons Of Lilith (SOL) is currently looking for a a small guild (15-20 members) that would like to merge with us. We are currently 15 members strong and already have a php site, hall, cape, and ts server so we'd like to keep our name and cape since they both have meaning to our core members. As far as the merger is concerned, all your members would be required to sign up for our site's forums and to follow our logging in at least once a week policy, but all your officers would become officers in our guild and your guild leader will have 75% domain over your current members. We haven't GvGed much, so GvG matches will be restricted to pratice only because I don't want to be ranked until we have enough experience to win a couple of matches; however, if you explain the build you are going to use in the GvG match on our forums you'll be allowed to do ranked matches.

Well, we dont want to merge merge, but we want to have some allies. We are AFO, All For One guild, and we need more activity. We are a small guild, maybe a little over 18 members, and would like to either be allies with a larger guild, or have all of the members of a smaller guild join us. Many of us (like me) had been playing Guild Wars since the Beta Weekends, or started on release day, but our guilds were small and going nowhere. In late June we formed the Tyrian League on the gwonline.net message board as an informal alliance of a dozen small guilds. Since then 8 of our guilds have merged into a single, larger guild (Knights of the Tyrian League [TL],) of about 45 players while the others have kept their independence.

We are a very diverse, mature group of players. Many of us are "casual" players who are not trying to be among the game's elite. Others don't even like PvP and prefer to stick with roleplaying mode. However, we have about 10 serious PvP players in our alliance. We have tended to focus on the GvG side of things (and not as much on Tombs) - before the ladder reset in September we went 61-36 in GvG play and were 478th on the ladder, though we had been as high as 200th at times. Since the ladder reset we have gone 15-15 and are currently 670th on the ladder - it's taken us a bit of time to adjust to some of the game balance changes.

Of our 10 GvG players, 8 are in the merged guild, and 2 more are "indies" who Lucas Blackpool regularly pays the 100 gold to Guest invite into their guild for matches.

We have about 7 members right now and are VERY pve/pvp conscious most all members are amazing helpers. Everyone can and wil run Droks (still since patch) we all use money sparingly and loan if the person is legit and sincere.

Well, i know from our guilds viewpoint, sometimes we want just another 1-2 players for a gvg match if we don't have enough. So, having a few allied guilds would be for the better.

Although we've had such requests from warrior nation, and we denied. We don't quite want it like that... Or like what this guy is advertising.

Maybe that explained a little, maybe not... but i think you hit the donkey on the ass with that pin prick. It's more then likely because they don't want to leave their guilds to join with another, but then again... who does?

I know that our guild would never do such a thing, but then again... we have plenty of members and scheduled gvg's. And plenty of new builds in the works (Yes, still some that haven't been seen). But, we also plan on making a community with our guild, eventually one that will go into other games together. We didn't form a guild just for gvg, or tombs holding... I mean to say that we don't just throw together random people into the mix. We want a guild of mature pvp players. We actually wanted a great community with a bit of competitiveness thrown in the mix.

Wow!! I wasnt even expecting responses as many people look at alliances and say "phfft, forget it". Good to see some people are thinking about it.

To further explain: We formed this alliance because there was a group of 4 - 5 guilds that did not want to drop their guild even though it was small. Why should there HAVE to be mergers? I am a part of a 5 person guild consisting mainly of real life friends. Not only do we play the game (PvE and PvP) but we use the game to keep in touch. Therefore, if there are 4 of us on, we usually use the guild chat to talk. I know we could form a team or meet in an empty international district, but why? Now we can talk about whatever as we are all playing different parts of the game...

Also, there are so many breakup of guilds, fights within guilds because of leadership burnout, guild inactivity, etc. I find that its nice to get rid of the politics if you are comfortable with the members of your small guild in that you can just not to team up with someone that is maybe causing some angst for a short or indefinite period if your not in the same guild. YET we wanted people (friends) to be able to PvE with and PvP with even though we didnt want them in the guild. In all honesty, to that last point, the Arena Net friends list sucks. Its nice to have forum boards to discuss things like approaching a mission, getting groups together to do mission runs, virtual LAN party nights, working out PvP builds for TA, Tombs, and GvG.

You are right in saying that we cannot GvG under one banner, but instead we can GvG under whomevers banner that evening. None of us are hardcore, dye trying PvP so were not all that concerned about rank or that my guild is very "GvG serious, dont screw up our rank...no testing here". But, we have found that if a guild isnt concerned about their rank, easy smurf! Really its an alliance of friends that gets rid of a lot of politics and allows for bigger numbers to help with PvE and PvP and just providing some forum for a bigger group of people to know each other and be able to play together when only 2 are on from your own guild.

Its gone really well for us and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! The guesting in for GvG allows for a lot of learning in PvP GvG and being able to play more often than if I waited for myguild to grow to 8. Plus its easy to discuss tombing builds and how to beat Thuderhead!

My main point: Why not when you can have more fun without losing your little guild of trusted friends, less politics, less angst if everyone is aware of the reserved right too just sink back into your own guild for awhile, and make more friends? Ive enjoyed it much and hope that a chat channel is added for alliances and perhaps a lesser fee for allied guilds to guest in (I know its a small amount and how to control abusing it?). Our guild hasn't been very active through the times playing guild wars but I want to either join another guild or just merge I was hoping to merge since I love my guild name and capes. I was wondering if any guild wants to merge we have a guild hall and some members and we also have a teamspeak but other then that we don't have active members or any leaders I was hoping a guild would merge and I would allow the other guild to be the leaders and help out this guild from the bottom to the top. I am all ears for any other conditions on a guild merge for example if another guild wants to keep the name but change the cape I will hear them out and try to make a reasonable settlement that makes both guilds happy.

we are an established guild with about 35 members. we have been around since the very first beta events, since we have made a small website with freebie forums(they work), and set up a teamspeak server. most of us are quite experienced with the game, and we have gathered much knowledge over the course of time since release.

BBF was a top 50 guild during beta and many of those members moved on we are now looking to restablish ourselves and are looking for members who like to gvg every chance they get.

i wish i had seen this post about 2 weeks ago because I had my own harry potter themed guild, The Ravenclaw Slayers, but unfortunately disbanded it after I lost half my guild in one day.

Originally created as a way for a group of coworkers to play together, The Zerglings is now home to around 40 members (8 of which are officers). The original members and many of our current officers were Starcraft players -- hence the Starcraft reference. Our officers and members are friendly and helpful, and we regularly form groups to PvE and PvP.

We have a teamspeak server, Guild Hall, and website. The website has some screenshots of our characters in PvE groups and clearly shows our cape in the "Dancing at Lions Arch" shot (the cape is a blue to green fade from top to bottom). We just recently started GvG, and are in the process of trying out different coordinated team builds. The majority (if not all) of our players are in North America. Our guild hall is the necromancer castle style one.

Our primary motivation for finding a guild to merge with is for GvG. Whenever we have attempted to schedule a GvG event, our turnout has been 6 or 7 members which makes trying to do a GvG battle difficult.

We had great success this weekend forming guild groups for Tombs and did 5 successful complete runs defeating the Darknesses at the end. Each run took anywhere from 90 to 135 minutes. Even for this event though we had only 7 of the 8 members from our guild and each time had to recruit an extra person. Still it was great fun talking over teamspeak and having such success.

Here are the following qualities we are looking for in a guild for merger:

- The majority of your guild members have done pretty much everything there is to do in PvE and are looking to do primarily GvG now. OR if your guild has already done a fair amount of GvG (but would like more members to GvG more often) and desire to bring your experience and ideas into the Zerglings for a mixing of ideas.
- The average age of your guild members is 20 or higher and can conduct themselves maturely over teampseak.
- Your guild contains 10 to 30 members at least half of which play regularly (by regularly I would mean at least 10 hours a week)
- Your members would be able to sync up with ours for GvG events (and possibly some UW, FOW, and Tombs events). This does not mean that all members of your guild are within North America, but the majority of them would probably need to be for the merger to work.
- Your officer to member ratio is within 10-25% officers (ours is 20%). All officers in your guild would become officers in our guild during the merger.

Also should we decide to merge and you have a guild hall, then I would be happy to assist in the sale of your guild. The profits from the sale of course would belong entirely to your current guild members to be distributed as your members see fit.

We are a guild of 6 that have pretty much been togethor since the beginning of the game. We focused on pve and beating all missions with all our characters. Officer will be responsible for the recruitment and training of GvG players. This officer will create builds and schedule match times with other guilds both rated and unrated. This officer will work in unison with the Singapore GvG officer.

The reason for only taking on one new player at a time is to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to play with this individual and the training is not a drag on the guild. Knights of the Alliance, [KoA] is looking for likeminded guilds and players to form friendships, mergers and alliances with.

KoA was founded in 1997 and has made a name for itself in many online games since it's formation. The guild currently has active chapters in WoW, GW, CoV, and Eve Online. This is what we base our guild goals on for the GW chapter.

KoA strives to be a balanced guild with a mix of PvP, GvG, and PvE for all of our members. We currently have a system set up to ensure that our most experienced and most flexible players take part in our rated GvG matches. There is a group within the guild called the Obsidian Order whose members have proven to have the necessary skills, weapon upgrades, and experience to keep our GvG experiences positive. This group meets twice per week for rated GvG. One night per week the guild does scheduled PvP in Hero’s Ascent. For this event the whole guild is welcome to attend. This is where we practice our GvG builds as well as test out our new builds. The guild also schedules a PvE event one night per week. This can include anything from end game missions, FoW, UW, Tombs, and end game quests such as the glint quests. Members can request the things they need or want to get done and the group helps with whatever is needed.

For those that need or want more activity than what is scheduled we have a Ventrilo server that everyone is required to use which helps in setting up things to do with little to no notice. Any member can initiate any activity at any time except rated GvG, due to game mechanics and guild policy.

KoA has about 40 people on the roster right now. We are actively looking for quality partners and will not sacrifice our reputation or values for an increase in numbers. We are a mature group with an average RL age of mid 20s. We do not take ourselves too seriously, but we like to have fun and we like to win even more.

In this past ladder season we peaked at around 450. Our goal for the next season is to top that rank and even reach the top 100.

Hello people, Just a few days ago, some friends and myself decided to form our own PvP-only guild. We didnt have much trouble getting our hall, cape, ts server and website at guildportal. We are currently unranked and looking for more people to merge with us to make the guild grow. Unfortunately, most of the new members, I recruited like 5-8 person and a total of 20 persons were recruited, out of which, only 12 person remains, since most of the people we recruited were just to impatient to GvG or were like people who wanted to receive everything on a golden plate.

We are looking for more mature players, 18+ and this is why I am posting here. It would be great if other guilds in the same precarious situation as ours, would merge under the same banner. Since the guild is new, meaning unranked, I dont feel that we will have problem playing together. There is already a marvelous communication with the current guild players; The more the merrier

If your having trouble getting your guild started and can't get more then just a couple of people to join then I might be able to help. I started a guild a couple of month's ago and I know how hard it is to get it going. What I can do for you is offer a murge with The Glory Guild. What I can offer you is FULL site officer status on our web page that give's you the ability to do everything the admin can. Example's ( Change site color and style, add and edit forum topics,accept and view new aplications,and more).. I'm leader of a Guild I take great pride in, known as The Virtual Justice. "TVJ" was formed in 1995. Over the years, we've been involved in many different games, had several websites, forums and such. Had in excess of 75+ members during select periods. However, nowaday's it's mostly confined to about 5 friends, who game what they prefer.
Currently, In GW's we have just 2 members, we were never planning to expand, recruit or merge. However, our schedules dont mesh as much anymore and we find ourselves seeking other to play with and are both growing tired of Soloing. Were both mature, fun and helpfull.
Personally I can be found assisting other's about 1/2 the time I'm online. So, what do I do?
I dont want to be a leader of a large Guild as I dont wish to be an administrator nor have the time required to do so.
I have no idea how mergers work, so please dont flame me.
