This morning i was tired of just having money so I decided to invest in something that might be usefull someday.
Well I started buying Monsterous Fangs and Claws. And not a few I bought 250 of each. Then saw I had more money and started buying more.....well after 10 miniutes of non stop clicking and running to my storage the trader says.
Sorry I just ran out of stock. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well I have more than 400 of both sooo..please don't slap me if the prices sky rocket.

Here's a thought, if you've money and nothing really of use to spend it on why not help out some less fortunate? Doesn't have to be hundreds of thousands but helping out newer players here and there and others who for whatever reason haven't been so fortunate ingame. It has the net benefit of making someone's gaming experience better = better for the game's future overall (they might tell their friends about it!) and giving usually gives a nice feeling to the giver as well

Just don't reward the "give me stuff!!!!11" demanding brat types....

Old ascalon trick with charr hides. I plunged the market of fur squares down the other night alone by pumpin about 250 charr hides to that collector at 4 per fur hide. Do the math! <for those who can't: 250/4 X <price of fur squares> =)

Dropped it to 110, markets back up high again, so I say if you're ever low on cash..charr hides. =)

If you really have that much money try doing the same but with ecto's.... if I ever had a couple of mil lying around I'd go and drain the market of ecto's.... then sell them at ultra high prices...

I've given up on randomly helping people, too much grief. My wife founded a guild dedicated to helping newbs get antiquated to the GW world. I would play Santa from time to time with good items and a bit of gold. Well one guy I gave 5k and a nice bow. Later that day he messaged me asking for 'gold to give his friend'. He was constently PMing me and my wife asking if we had anymore money to give him. This was a few months ago and he STILL messages me. *some how I can't ignore him...even though he's on my list.

probably won't do much. I did the same thing with charcoal at one point. I spent about 850K on charcoal...the next day the trader had charcoal at the normal price again...at least I got close to my initial investment back selling it to the trade.

Well I do give money out to new people after I've helped them in the ascalon missions. I don't just give it out, I take some time to get to know them first. Most of these people are now on my firends list.

Checked: Fangs and claws are still out of stock.

:Edit: Well I hope they do get used, I also have ALOT of Tempered Glass Viles for some reason and Eyes.Oh don't forget the hundreds of charr carvings. It wont belong before I bid on a Crystalline sword in tens of thousands of charr carvings.

A few months ago I bought up 132 black dyes - and over the next few days the merchant prices for black dye skyrocketed to over 16k+. I sat on the black dyes for a while then sold off about 70 of them in one shot for a hefty profit. Over the next few days the prices lingered at around 7-9k then settled.

Since then I haven't purchased any more black dye and the prices have been relatively stable. I'd like to think I caused the price spike by hoarding it .... I wonder.

I found a black dye yesterday. I was positively giddy.

That's good enough for me.

Ah yes... and the gold storm bow I found a few days back... saw the +17% damage modifier and nearly had an anuerism. Then I found the negative condx can go to 20... so I have a +17<50 Storm Bow.

I don't understand how people can be so broke in this game sometimes. Back when I first started when I used to be broke, and needed 1 plat for something, I'd stop questing and go farm for 10 minutes, and have my 1 plat. It only takes about 10 minutes to earn 1-2k and that's without having an invincimonk or something of the sort.

soloing in certain places and SAVING dont buy everything u see. conserve what u have and make it work. i didnt buy anything for a/b a 3 weeks or so. and that was playing a/b 4 hours a day.

The most important thing to do is to SAVE. When most people make their first 5k (or 10k or 20k etc.) they start spending on stuff they really don't need - only because they can afford it. That's how people stay poor.

i would but i have nothing to save i get about 150 gold for doin a mission plus a few materials but i dont not ever get runes weapons of anycolour so i have no chance to save (it took me a month to save for droknar armor ffs)
