Critcal Hit or Not?

Hmm... what is the lowest possible level you can get to Glint then? Since she is level 31 as opposed to the Bladed Aatxe which are 29. Then again... which hits for more, I haven't been to Glint in a while.

Level 12, I think?
Very amusing.

Would level even affect this? I thought level only really gives you health and attribute points? Does it give armor too? Or is there some natural, higher level attacking lower level bonus that we don't know of?

If I recall correctly, level affects only spell damage. So, the meteor outside augury at level 1 with no armor + frenzy + heal sig should be the highest possible amount of damage.

Just tested, with 1 in swordsmanship (too lazy to remove armour) I was htting for 7-12 against a level 4 warrior enemy, against a level 20 2 damage. Having a higher level affects the the amount of damage you'll deal.

They have a higher AL at higher levels. Humans dont.

Hmm that's true. Ugh, annoying.
How could you really test it then? The only attacks that I can think of right now are Crystal Wave or Obsidian Flame. But since both are spells it doesn't really prove anything. And using Judge's Insight wouldn't help since the higher level enemies would have a higher defense as well.

GvG with a guild you know and is willing to test something like that.
With 8 on each team, I'm sure you could test some different things.

Reminder: here is Ensign's article. You'll find almost everything you need here:

Only the level of the spellcaster should affect the amount of damage dealt, so bringing a lvl1 in the desert isn't needed. You must find an elementalist boss with a very high level, and very high magic attributes. Even from a level 28 elementalist boss, I doubt the base damage before multipliers can go over 300 (which seems to be the aatxe limit).
Glint's unique spells may be the exception. I don't remember their base damage but as far as I recall it's pretty close to the Aatxes'. If someone could screenshot the damage with a regular spellcaster (60Al exactly). We can then apply multipliers to estimate the max damage a warrior with negative armor would take.
Basically if a spellcaster with 60AL is hit for more than 300dmg in one shot, Glint is officially the winner of this contest. Taking the actual screenshot with more than 3000dmg might be hard though, because you need to stay alive until Glint decides to use its special spell *and* you need to be using your healing signet when it does.

The only special skills I recall Glint using are Crystal Haze, Crystal Hibernation... and one other that when you hit her it causes 100 damage to everything around her (says Jagged Skin or something along those lines). Crystal Haze causes exhaustion on every skill you use, and Crystal Hibernation gives her +7health regen and all elemental attacks heal her instead.
What is the other special skill you're refering to? I've never killed her so is it only done when her health is low?
