Can Someone tell me what this error is?

Can someone tell me wtf this error is or how to fix it, thought reinstalling gw would fix it but nope. Heres a screen shot of the errors

First off what is 64ace.exe? Where is it located on your pc. Is it a hack program? It doesn't sound like GW executable but I could be wrong...don't have GW system infront of me. If it is a legit program and not GW then take it out of your startup group to keep it from running while using your PC. If it is something you don't need like spyware then run a spyware cleaner twice to get rid of it. Next run a chkdsk in safe mode to see if you have a bad sector on your harddrive. Then run memtest86 to see if it is your memory. The memtest86 test will take awhile so do that last. Also is this a re-occurring problem that just started or has it gotten progressively worse? Good luck.

The 64ace.exe was in a folder named FINDERRORBOWSTOOL which I have no idea what that is, I am going to try what you suggested next at the moment.
It says the 64ace.exe is in use if this is any help to figure out what it is.
I try to run safe mode but all that happens is a regular restart?
And also this has been happening for the past 2 days, about when I try to zone, sometimes everytime and sometimes it takes a while for this to pop up.

Is that folder directly inside the Program Files folder or is it somewhere else? Could you please put the path to the folder here. It may be spyware and will need to be taken out. If you can go through your Add/Remove interface and remove all programs that you did not knowingly install. If you haven't done this yet you will be in for a surprise...there is likely a ton of stuff there is you surf the internet. Please also list your Operating system here.

I got rid of the 64ace.exe but there are about 25 other exes in there which.
For the add/remove I have many things in there which I have no knowledge of but it wont let me remove there.

Are you logged in with Administrator rights? If you are just get rid of what you can. Most likely all the other stuff you have in there is spyware and it is a nightmare to get rid of sometimes. If you have a real copy of Windows then download their spyware remover and run it 2X and have it clean everything. Please also post your Operating System. Is it Windows Xp or Windows 2000.

ok first things first, did you update your virus definitions and is it in auto protect mode? ALso what antivirus program are you running?
pegasux
Also hit these keys at the same time on your pc ctrl+shift+esc. then click on processes and stretch the window screenshot it and post it here showing all the processes. Also do the same with your add remove programs. There will be another one but we will do that last.

The thing that worries me is that you had 10 virus when you did a scan. Norton should have picked it up if autoprotect is on. Just double check to make sure that it is on. Post the pics if you can.

Also how come it wont let me open up in safe mode...all it does is open up normaly when I choose safe mode.
pegasux
not sure...do you get the windows startup or do you get a list of files running by real fast when you choose safe mode? If you select safemode you should be taken to it...never seen it not do that.
pegasux
One thing i forgot, go into your virus history and retrieve the names of the virus that you got and go to the symantec site to see if there is a removal tool for it. Norton will not always remove the entire virus or clean the mess that it left...the removal too if any should do it though.

can you go into safe mode with command prompt?
If you can post those screen shots it would be really really helpful.

Well I got it to start safe mode, and got to where it asks to pick a user, and when I do it restarts my computer...any idea about this?
dargon
I did a quick search on the 64ace.exe thing, you might want to check out this thread

apparently it's part of a little piece of malware known as LOP

Man you got so serious issues with your OS. Like dargon said it's probably Malware. Let's give this a shot first since the spy/malware is hosing you. Log into your system normally and then go to the run command and type in msconfig, then go to the startup tab. your going to have to screenshot this one after you expand the command window to show where the executable is.

yeah the last one that says startup. Once you click on there you will get a window that will have 3 section. Expand the one that says command window as much as you can and screen shot it.
FCtSteveO
Hopefuly this is the right thing.
sir-ireland1
i get that same problem but it also says low virtuil memory and the game crashes it hapens every now and again
pegasux
sorry that's the wrong thing but delete both of those out of there. Ok do this: START --> RUN --> type in the following without the quotes "msconfig" --> CLICK OK.
New window popsup: --> CLICK ON THE LAST TAB LABLED STARTUP
Within that new window expand the portion that says COMMAND. You will be able to stretch the border on that to expand. This window will show where the startup file is located. Once you get that screenshot it.

sir Ireland, if you get a low virtual memory error do this. It does require a restart though. RIGHT CLICK YOUR MY COMPUTER ICON --> CHOOSE PROPERTIES --> CLICK THE ADVANCED TAB --> CLICK ON THE PERFORMANCE OPTION BUTTON --> WHERE IT SAYS VIRTUAL MEMORY CLICK ON CHANGE --> UNDER MAXIMUN SIZE ADD 256 TO IT ( I am assuming you have 256mb of memory). If you still get the same error then increase it in 256MB increments. Also if you have 2 seperate hard drives (not 2 partitions) move you paging file to the other drive entirely. This will free up your primary drive and let you run a little smoother. Let me know if this helps.
FCtSteveO
Ok heres the screen shot
pegasux
ok on that first set uncheck items 4 - 11. Then give me a screen shot of the next items down. (NOTE TO EVERYONE: UNCHECKING THESE WILL NOT DISABLE THE PROGRAMS, YOU CAN STILL ACCESS THEN, THEY JUST WON'T START AUTOMATICALLY WHEN YOU LOGIN)
FCtSteveO
Heres the second part of it, ...the rest are disabled already, but most of them I dont even use anymore or dont have them.
edit: They were the same links

pegasux
you can uncheck everything else in there also. next page
FCtSteveO
Ive looked through the rest, and I dont have any of the files on my computer anymore, not sure why they still show up though. If you still want to see I can put up.
pegasux
that's ok...just make sure you are not unchecking items that are required though. make sure you recheck this at at least once a week. You should also run a spyware scan to clean some of that junk out after you restart. you should also still run a chkdsk now after you restart. just go to a command prompt and type chkdsk /r
Let me know if this helps...if anything you should notice your system running faster now.

I do feel the speed increase, im gonna need to try to delete some files that I cant but other then that I think I should be fine for now. Ill try guildwars for a sek and see if the error is gone.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your help.

no prob...like said though make sure you run chkdsk /r
FCtSteveO
Well I think the Application error is fixed, but the "Error" on the picture, the 2 smaller boxes still ocour, any idea what that is?
