I bought Gorrel's Cane WAYYYY back in the day, before I tested and knew that recharge and cast time mods only effect spells.
So I had fun with my purchase (didn't want to waste the money) and noticed Gorrel's Cane had alot of bugs - It NEVER helped the cast or recharge of certain spells. Dont know if they ever fixed that.
Eventually sold it to the merchant. >_>

It was on the day Sorrow's Furnace was opened when I went to Grenth's Footprint to take a look at the newly discovered area. I promptly ran into one called Thorgall Bludgeonhammer. Needless to say, I killed him, with help of my trusty henchmen. He dropped both his hammer and his shield for me (figure that: a party of eight, the very first boss I run into and he gives me two greens at once ). I still have both, never used the hammer, but the shield has served me well on many occasions.

I joined the original Guild wars late in the game (December 2006). When I finally got to the shiverpeaks I was fighting my way through and came across a funny new glowing red icy creature. At the time I really wasn't sure what the purpose of a boss was, except for the moral boost, but then after me and my hard fighting henchie group killed this creature there was a new and deliteful surprise on the ground. Soon I realized I had killed the beast flint, and he had passed onto me his great and mighty fleshcleaver to use in my journey's to come. What an excited that came over me, I had my first ever perfect weapon, I was so excited.
A month or so past and I started to realize what was going on more in guild wars, people do the same stuff over and over again just to increase their gold count. Thats fine, I actually became pretty addicted to farming for a month or so, but I completely ruined that first excitement of that green drop. It wasn't to shortly after I discovered farming, that I discovered my first green was a worthless piece of crap.
A month or so past and I started to realize what was going on more in guild wars, people do the same stuff over and over again just to increase their gold count. The first green i ever owned was a Stinger which i bought for the extortionate price of 7k. The first green i ever picked up was much later and was Gorrels Staff. I still use it to this day on my thumper, as the +30+30 mod is oh so useful for 'PvE endures'

Did the Tomb of Primeval Kings PvE the 2nd day it came out... I don't farm much. I completed it and got all three greens at the end. I got the Victo's Axe, Victo's Blade, and the Millus Eye.

Rago's flame staff, which I didn't like till someone told me it was worth 100k + 5 ectos (I also didn't know what ectos were). Sold it straightaway and that made me into the rich bastard I am today.
