Yeah, for materials check the material trader (or rare material trader, in this case) and buy between the trader's buy/sell prices.

Dolyak - salvage mods, merch Ancient Scythe - salvage mods, try for 2-3k or hero/merch. Aureate Aegis - salvage +30, ~3k imo for shield afterward

Agree. Salvage 20%, and then I'd salvage the inscription too, and merch the sword if it survives or try to get 1-2k for it.
