I've seen no decrease in event drops either. Do a couple more runs and your luck will probably change.
Just make sure the Raptors have a wall on THEIR left side and you're good to go

Well.. you most likely are on a bad luck streak.. cuz I got 4 cores and plenty of merch food on my first run right now.
