Afraid you can't salvage mods off oldschool shields, offhands, or wands. 5k tops, I'd merch.

Agreed with Karate on all counts except for the skeleton shield. Purple + single mod (which is way off max) = merch, regardless of req.

If items can drop non-max from end chests, does this mean they can also drop req 8 (max or non-max)?

Sure it's old and cool and all, but how many players are going to give up an entire mod for that? Sellable only to a collector.
