I've found a max purple one in a barrels deep in the falls. I'm pretty sure that they are a rare drop from hydras too.

It's a clean white drop, I got it from a level 12 mergoyle in the Gates of Kryta mission.

I just found a 7-20 hand axe. Max is supposed to be 6-28. I have no clue how it has 1 more minimum damage than max. Has anyone else ever found any...
