Simple 330hp is more to heal. With protective spirit and 55 HP you take roughly 5 1/2 damage, with 330 HP you take 33 Damage.
A better solution, in my opinion would be a limitless ignore list. =p

I think mods on weapons and foci are random. If your looking for scythes with elemental mods, try farming Acolyte of Grenth for Cold damage, and...
Social Engineering would be, basically trying to fool someone into thinking that a website is legitimate as to get personal information from them....
