So, it's true that heroes use CS on casters having visible caster weapons. But what about the Avicara Brave? It's a sword warrior... Maybe...
The weapon used by the hero seems not to affect the decision to cast it: I tried giving a sword to Gwen and keeping Norgu with a staff. No way....

Glaiveway is the "meta" build for NM runs. Instead, for HM runs, the Frostway build is the one commonly used by PUG teams.
You may also try to temporarily change the hero behavior to "avoid combat" while moving.

Yes. There are a couple of new builds for DoA SC: Fragway (should take ~50 mins) Frostway (dunno times) But I don't know what build uses...
