Jetdoc, they use lingering curse. Layering enchantments will do nothing at all. Lingering curse -> Elite version of Rend enchantments.

I only have the super-uber spider farming shield. If you're thinking of using this for spiders, -2 in a stance is better than +8 armor. Anyway...
