You get the belt pouch in pre-seared, as you've discovered, and everything else is in post.

You can buy a rune of holding from merchants that increases your bag size from 5 slots to 10 slots.

To name your pet: /namepet xxx I don't think bears are tameable as of yet.... they break the charm very easily.
