AA issues on a radeon X1650 pro

I had the same problem.. I didn't hear any buzzes(beeps?) though. I didn't have any speaker connected to the motherboard, that may be why....

You could try nv4loopfix. It fixes an error where the geforce card creates an infinite loop.. And your case sounds like a loop....

I found the problem.. I feel a bit stupid for not trying this earlier.. I usually run the game in windowed mode, running it in fullscreen fixed...
