I actually stopped reading at this point. I personally have a major issue with Warriors. 99% of them suck horribly. The 1% left actually knows when to STOP attacking. That's really all there is. A good War can fold you in half in seconds, a bad War you can murder in so many humiliating ways I'm not even going to begin to tell the story. Well, good for me that the majority of Wars dont go beyond the select target/attack. There is nothing in this game that I enjoy more than a sexy, tanned, long blond hair lady in a drop dead gorgeous dress owning a mofo in a steel suit with her cane. Please press FRENZY botton NOW.

Let the ele tank, lol. The wards they have in earth and all those armor enchants make them ideal
i'll take my Warrior somewhere and bodyblock, but I'm not sacrificing my characters high DPS because you said so.
@OP: If you're actually still using mending on your bar, might I suggest Echo to go with it?
Echo Mending FTW!
Seriously Mesmer in Need, if you want to learn more about Warriors, just ask us nice next time. We'll be happy to tell you all this WITHOUT making you look silly.
Here's my tidbits: Since Warriors already have the highest DPS--there, I said it--in the game, consider a vampiric mod. The +3 to 5 damage you drop with every hit makes it more than worth a monk complaining when you don't weapon swap fast enough to suit him.
Watch Yourself is the best Team Prot I can bring to a game when I use my warrior in PvE. KDed foes=Critical Hits so learn to work Knockdown into your build for a 3 second (once you get your Stonefist) shutdown+interupt+OUCH damage to your target.

Tiny Killer
I love threads like this. A long time ago I gave up wondering why it was so hard for a Warrior to get into a PUG (note: warrior not tank). So many out there are like the OP. For the most part I just stick to my guild or run with henchies. I have grown tired of explaining that swords were carried in to battle as weapons to kill things with.
Now, as a test, I went down to FoW with every stance that I could carry and went to clear the spider cave. Somehow I failed (maybe because all those ranged attacks don't trigger Riposte...). I went back with Physical Resistance, Watch Yourself, Heal Sig and 4 attack skills and somehow managed to clear the area in about 40 minutes. Not sure how that is possible since warriors are not able to deal damage.
The very fact that a warrior can go out and kill many, many things using a solo build makes me question how I am supposed to NOT do that in a team build. More players need to be aware of the fact that some people have learned to play this game without use of a cookie cutter guide written 15 months ago. Some have actually tried more than three different skills that are available to their class as well. For example, I have all primary skills on all of my characters and many of the secondary skills for the different classes. Granted, there are some I do not use but that is due to me having tried them out and decided I did not like them, not because I was told they are no good.
Anyway, I just wanted to add my two cents. To all Tanks out there: Learn your profession. To all warriors out there: Keep it up!

Endure pain
Res (rebirth or res sig, there are no others for you!)
4 attacks under IAS, try to balance it all out so it uses enough energy and adrenaline to keep around 5 energy for the emergency switch endure pain.
IF (yes, *if*) IF, I'm repeating, IF you see that you'll be facing stuff that will hit you hard, turn on dolyak. You don't need to have it on all the time. With all your damage you can probably kill stuff fast enough (+you also have at least 4-5 other guys dealing damage). If you're not getting hit, don't use the dolyak.
Endure pain is an emergency switch for when your monk is slacking. If you're getting hit and you need to use a heal sig then you should just shoot yourself. Monks are there for the healing so dump that heal sig, those heal breezes, those stupid, stupid mendings and put in some damage.
Ey guess what, with 16 axe, 13str and rest in nothing, you won't need tactics!! you won't need healing prayers!!!!!!!!
ZOMFG!!!!!!
Sorry if I sound like an ass, I just couldn't stop myself ='(

Res (rebirth or res sig, there are no others for you!) *uses Dolyak Signet* *target moves* Zomfg says the warrior walking after his target while he suceeds in dealing NO damage at all. I despise Dolyak Signet in anything but solo farming or small team farm builds... it is the most useless skill a warrior could bring, warriors who bring it can't be thought of as damage dealers.
I use a +1 Strength helm... ok i bought it when i was a noob purely on looks. The irony is its now becoming quite useful... At 15 weapon mastery and 14 Strength i can bridge into the break points at 14 Strength like the 10 second Tiger Stance and the +7 IWAY. Of course i still *need* to get myself a new armour set to use with properly chosen helms, but 14 Strength can have its benefits.

Sorry if I sound like an ass, I just couldn't stop myself ='( That is bad what are you going to do when your endure pain runs out.I will give you a tip it is the best way to farm ettins let them hit endure and the healing signet .I usually attack useing sun and the moon and dragons slash when they hit thier healing signet I hit distracting blow and it kills them all the time. When I use my axe War. I use penetrate.disrupting and eviscrete similar to my sword and my only way of healing is heal signet and watchyourself.
I stopped useing endure and defy as it is an easy way to end up dead sure you have Monk but don't increase you hp by useing endure or they will assume you still have lots of health left when infact you don't when endure runs out and the same goes for defy.

Bruce Brutal
i personaly like to atk as an warrior, but this time i was thinking NOT to use mending, not becouse i hate it, but i just wanted to change and let the healing depend on the monk, also the build i figured out (you can read it under " good enough dmg dealing wammo") is a build without healing without defence, but great dmg dealing. Also i think its just a mather of taste of what you like or not
