We don't have NF characters this cycle, so I wont touch on that, but please take note of the changes everyone!

Are you, Stalker Haras, asking me about what I think about your picture? lol if so, let me see if I can give a little critique...I think your picture is nice, but, as far as modeling, goes, it doesn't work for me. In terms of the fashion industry, models are models. Face is their canvas, and it looks like your face is being shadowed. Moreover, Models have beautiful bodies because its what book them jobs for modeling clothes, and the leaf/branch thingies are kinda covering your body of work. The pose is a little safe for me, it might work if youre advertising jewelry, like rings on your fingers, but otherwise, its safe and rather ordinary. On the plus side...I'm looking right at your neck, its looks very long and sophisticated, I know that sounds weird, but something that models have are long necks. Models are generally tall, and when youre shooting pictures from waist up, or a beauty shot which is a tight frame that focuses on the face, the lenght of the neck emphasizes the tall stature of a model. That's something everyone in general might want to look for, you can always tell if its a celebrity or a model on a cover of a magazine by looking at the length of the neck. Not always of course, but anyways yeah, its not the best picture, but its not bad, like I said, its rather safe, and you have alot of outside forces that work against you as well. Move out or front of the bush thing, and get out of the shade. And it could be better. lol, but anyways, before I get carried away...if you think that was long, you should see how long it takes for THREE people to discuss ONE person and with the three responded to each other back and fourth lol...its insane lol and yes, it is silly to expect all of this in a game, but I really enjoy it, its been fun for all of us on panel, and i hope we do manage to find enough talented newcomers that would be interested in doing this process with us again! And for the record, we aren't complete b******, we really arent as hard as we seem, like I said, what I post on the evaluation post, is COMPLETELY, 100% edited to the max, we do it for suspense, which I think works, because alot of people have expressed to me how exciting it gets to find out who stays and who goes. So I'm very happy, well we're, very happy that competition has gotten some attention!!!
So if you cant get the armor at a location, but can still take a picture there should we? Or not bother if we cant get the armor there?
If you do not have the correct armor for that location using the updated list, then no, dont waste time with a picture. Thank you for pointing that out Jaden! The Last Anthem

Hmm. Not that I'm in the competition (would be if I had remembered to check before the closing entries. ah well, I'll get in next round. ), I've been practicing a bit for shots that have been asked for in the latest. So far I think I've done fine with what has come up in the competition.
Here I have a shot of my ranger of one of the locations, and I like it a lot, but I'm not quite sure if its exactly what your really looking for. (yes I know I don't have all my FoW armor on ) and in thumbnail in case the above is to big. Unlucky Slayer
No Rit armor that isnt outragously expensive and really far into NF. *cries in the corner*
GWpenguin
Wow, not sure if I understand this challenge. For people who only have prophecies, the most they could get is 4 points!?!?!? Can this be cleared up cause this challenge seems real confusing.
xxSilhouette
wow!!! just got back to my dorm room, and WOW!!!! this sounds so fun Sad thing is My assasin doesn't have a lot of armor, I doubt i could get her to bone palace or kodash in time (since school starts tuesday ), But i may be able to pick up some type of luxon armor
Well. this does sound quite challenging, But very fun. It will be awesome to put thought into the armor as it if were fashion instead Im looking forward to this! Now i must hurry off and finish cleaning up my mess of a room and get to work Geishe
wait, for this, may i use the helms? Because they can be high fashion indicators and as long as i can explain it is that alright??
(Just like at Alexander Mcqueen, FAVOURITE designer lots of funky headgear.) Stalker Haras
*poke* no help at all?

You've always thought my Ranger was hot Craig.

lol, ok, I think I'm ready to come back after that stressful mess, I think I mixed a few people's email/PM status, so if I did, I apologize for spamming you guys!

Hmm the way I was reading it sounded like i had to comment on the cities design, not the armors design?

(Just like at Alexander Mcqueen, FAVOURITE designer lots of funky headgear.) lol, for some reason, the first thing that popped into my mind was Vincent from Project Runway season 3, where he used a fruit basket as a hat and added some beading to it, which oddly enough, kinda reminded me of a ritualist head gear lol, ranting again lol, but anyways, yes, you may use headgear, that goes for everyone, for this round. Alright guys, thanks for everyone's comments and suggestions, and if there is anything else anyone wants to know or ask or say, feel free to get at me! Maria The Princess
hm... this seems like fun BUT!
its also kinda unfair. the 1 point for picture (if you have right armor on +picture quality) and 1 point for answer. if im ritcher then other contestants and have every set of ele armor that exists, i can take a picture in each location, and if i answer correctly, i get more points then a contestant who is poorer so she has only 1 set yet answered all the questions correctly as well. something doesnt seem right. technicly, to a poor person there will be only 3 pictures availble to take (noob cantha armor, noob Elona armor, + current set used). even if thta person answeres ALL the question with perfection they still have a disadvantage towards the ritch person who has all those other armors. there is a total of 9 locations. so perfect contestant will have a max of 18 points. now if someone has only 1 armor set, that person will have no way to reach more then 12 points. i think that something doesnt work here.... remember that in the competition, the models didnt have to buy the clothes the designers were making them try. the "score" never depended on the models budget this is the impression that i got, plz correct me if i didnt get the assigment right... You hit my biggest gripe with this assignment on the head. I was lucky to have the extra cash and materials lying around to get all but FoW, Vabbi, and Ancient. I agree that something doesn't seem quite right here. I entered the contest simply because it seemed like everyone could enter and you didn't need to have all the most expensive armor in the game to be able to compete. Now in this assignment, the people who do have all the armor have a better chance of getting higher points. Luckily I've been collecting armor along the way so I think I have a good chance of not being eliminated at least, but there's no way I can even get close to full points. And the sad thing is, this has nothing to do with how my character looks anymore, but everything to do with money and wether you've played the games enough to get to the armor sellers. Otherwise this assignment sounds like tons of fun and I'll finally be able to show off all of my armor nearly the same time. Also, coming up with comments for each city's unique armor style is also very interesting. Still, I wish this assignment wasn't so tied up with how rich your character is. Maybe have the models pick just two or three cities out of the list that they write about and model their armor, rather than having to do all of the cities for max points? Jaden Stone
I think all in all the judges will make the right decision of whom to eliminate. I know it stated that the person with the lowest score will be eliminated, but im sure if someone scored a 12 and submitted 4 pictures, and another scored a 14 and submitted all 9, then ther preson with 12 would be most likely be here to stay.
Also, coming up with comments for each city's unique armor style is also very interesting

It's definitely armor, but I can see why you would mistake it for city since it is "Fashion Capital", but it is definitely armor that we are looking for.
Q. What sets this city apart from other designs from other cities?
? Can a judge confirm what we are suppose to answer? What makes the armor design unique... or what makes the city design unique? Would make much more sense with armor design I know, but just need that conformation.
Katina
Well thank god I have 3 characters filled with Katina's mesmer armor...
Edit: Working on the Cavalon shot, finally found one after about an hour >< like 500 more to go! I thought I'd share these with you guys, get your dollar bills ready, introducing the FIESTY KATINA! Ride that pole! I could only IMAGINE what the judges would say. "Playboy is that way!". -Katina Xo Xo Geishe

O ma gawd. 3rd Motw?? O_O" Laenavesse
*ponders* i agree that this looks unfair and that having a set number of images (most likely the minimum a person could have if they have one campaign..which is prophecies and was what, 2 or 3?) would be best.
as for the difference between common and ascended armor...yeah the more expensive armor will 8/10 look better than the more common ones, BUT i think it should be stressed that this is *modeling* and not fashion. So if you're a good model, i would think that you should try and make even the second rate looking gear stand out in some way. so this would involve where you shoot it and how you pose. the armor is just accenting that. I will admit the more expensive ones *will* look better..but i think we can trust our judges, the same way how some characters have the CE effects or other aura. You just use what you have and use it to your advantage. Just remember the past assignments and what all they've asked and critiqued on. You could have the greatest armor in the game and somehow make it look dull in your shot. So good luck guys :O Choose wisely [and be careful in dark places like HzH...don't get stuck in the dark ~^] nice pics btw Katina >> xxSilhouette

...wow. Lucky you.
At this point im going to have to agree with everyone else. Although it is possible for someone with all armor locations not to get all the points they could, it is also possible that they could get all the points. I definatly don't feel like this is 100 percent fair. I havent gotten my assasin all the way to kodash or to bone palace, and even if i did if i personally didn't like the armor i wouldn't want to spend that much gold on it, and even if i did like it - i can't imagine rushing through nightfall like that, expecially since i start classes tommorow. Hopefullly this will all work out and i can pick up a few more armors sometime today. GWpenguin
Can someone tell me how to upload photos cause I've been practicing shoots for the second cycle, if there is one, but each time I try to upload one, the post doesnt show it. Can someone help me with this?

As for the Fairness factor:
Take everything with a grain of salt. Is it fair that on the show that there's only one fat girl competing with eleven skinny girls?
I understand, I do, and while I can, and do, sympathize for our under priviledged contestants, all I can say, is take what you have, and run with it. Remember, Quality not Quantity.
Maria The Princess
^^ you are saying Quality not Quantity, but the contest assigment says the opposite. in a contest everybody has to have the same starting points.
a girl who is fat shouldn't be runing for a model anyways, but aside from that, she is NEVER limited in the quantity of photos she can take (example: the skiny one has 10 to take and her cuz shes fat cant take more then 3 to pick from) and all that matters is her looks and her body, and how she is choosing to show it.
a contestant with more armors has a privilege to send in more pictures, therefor more chances to win and less chances for elimination.
im sorry but this just doesnt make sence for a contest

Quote: The mini interviews sound cool, but this weekend may not be the best timing because of school exams next week (I have one on monday >.<) If its possible may I contact you online earlier, like may be thursday or wednesday to do it?? If not, then I'll try my best to come on the weekends... I just dont know if Ill be at the library studying or... yeah. I will post a sign up sheet which everyone can pick and arrange a time for a small interview sometime this week.
Quote: Anyway, one more question for the judges. I'm getting ready to submit my photos but was wondering if you wanted the original non croped version for this shoot, as I have done all 9 and submitting all 9 unedited versions may be a bit much to sort through. So, do you want them? Well i did wanted them cropped so I could prepare something, but now that its down the drain...I guess it doesn't matter which you send, but if you already cropped them, then send the cropped.

I just wanted to pipe in real quick, please - if you're going to discuss "fat models" be a bit more considerate in your language at least. The "fat" models that have been on the show are actually average size women who obviously look larger than they are next to a size 0 or size 1 woman. It's a bit disheartening to hear people call plus size models "fat" when I am about the same size (and I am in my correct body weight for height). I apologize for that, the discussion on the matter just went out of hand! Pay no attention to it. Quote:
