Hmmm, the shot you picked was one of the ones I didn't really like because of the lighting on the face. As for being too posey

Whee, I'm happy that my answers weren't too long or too detailed or anything. The original comments were actually twice as long, but then I learned that there's a character limit to private messages and had to get rid of some parts... I didn't have that much time to get great screenshots, so I tried to work a bit more on the comments.
And yes, I'm a clothing design freak. I sometimes get obsessed over even the smallest detail in clothing.

Well I'm not trying to defend myself, but i knew it was going to be a tough week...i just started back to school, i was short on time....i just didnt have the time to devote to anything this week Things are better now beacuse i actually know where my classes are, and im not busy running around campus trying to take care of stuff. things are pretty much back to normal. i really wanted to speand more time on this...i just didnt have it this week.
i think my problem was i was so concerned i wouldnt get enough pictures, so the little time i did have was speant on new armours and such...
anyways nice shots everyone!

I thought the assignment was showing how the armor was influenced by the city that its in, not just stricktly about armor. But whatev ;/

Well since everyone is going on about what they liked the most, I personally LOVE exotic armor, and I think it turned out well for this:
The Kamadan shot, the lightning was practically blinding... the blue is supposed to be a rich dark blue, but the light made it look almost teal. Still , I liked the carvings, and the carvings actually wore headgear too ^.^
Ohh thats too bad Katina, I do like the mesmer primeval armor... a LOT.

Malefic, good luck with school. I have exams coming up this week, so it'll take a miracle for me to even pass this next week (If I make it past this week, that is >.<)

Well I feel a lot better now though. I was sooo incredibly busy this week, I didn't do the best I could have. I did manage to go and buy that luxon armor though - which is what took up some of my free time (doing hatchery mission with a pug, and no monks...) needless to say, we had to attempt it 3 times, finally got it.
Now that things are on a normal like scedule again (no running around campus like a crazy person
) I should have much more free time.

Ooooh, a great big thank you to the judges! I was so not expecting that. My confidence had kind of been low for the last couple of rounds, as that elimination threat really scared me a few rounds back, but this has helped to make me more confident in my abilities again. Thank you!

Since the beginning, I had an instinct it would be Jaden as the winner. And I would be eliminated either in the 7th or 8th round.Of course, one can always hope for the better.

KaySey Stormray - Archipelagoes (Monk) Xiriss Stickleback - Archipelagoes (Necromancer) Incetol, Devout of Depths - Rhea's Crater (Monk) Wavecrest Stonebreak - Rhea's Crater (Elementalist) Delic The Vengeance Seeker - Rhea's Crater (Ritualist) Kenrii Sea Sorrow - Silent Surf (Mesmer) Whispering Ritual Lord - Silent Surf (Ritualist) I've taken a shot with all of them today, so it is definitely doable, but it will be extremely difficult! We will evaluate on a curve, but it will only be based towards the best submission we receive. If you really have trouble with this, I suggest you bring a friend, have them aggro the boss and then work around that like so....  While one our judges get beaten by the subject, I move around and pose with it and cropped out the other person. lol There's a lot of ways you can do this, from spells/wards/etc, so there should be no excuse. Same rules apply as always, and your assignment will be due Friday January 26, 2007!!! REMEMBER: You must post the choice of your boss on the thread before preceding onward to take your shoot!!! this assigment would be easier if u cast Pacifism on the boss. set your heros to "peace", send all away except the monk hero (who will echo the skill if it needs to) and you have a good moment to shoot. just dont attak him i guess, if u do recast the spell so he cant atatk u and ruin the screen with red damage numbers.
also u can give the monk hero Spell breaker as elite skill, so he cant cast on u for a good 20 secs or so. just a tough how to deal with sin and ele boss :P |
