Do they have this written in writing somewhere, or did you only hear it from an employee?

One thing I have learned about BestBuy employees is that they can say whatever they want, and change their story later. Then when you go in to claim what you were told, they want to know the name of the person who told you that (their way of getting out of honoring it).

I'm very...annoyed at my local EB right now. They had basically no idea what the pre-release bonus pack was, even though there was a poster advertising it in their shop, saying that if you pre-order you'd get the pack for free. So I pre-ordered, about a month before the packs would be out.

They never rang me to say that the pack was in - I only found out at another EB, and when I went to the one I'd preordered from, they'd run out of them.

Human Error does seem to be plaguing this bonous pack thing. And by Human Error I mean "Stupid sales people saying stuff that's not true"

We've heard as many different stories as many people asked.

I know I wanted the bonous pack, but if I ordered it bundeled at Gamestop with CE they wouldn't ship it till oct 27th. So I just ordered the bonous pack itself. They got it here in 3 days.

I then got the CE for $10 cheeper at Walmart.com of all places. So with the seperate shipping for the two, it balanced out to what I'd have paid for them bundeled, but I got my pack earily. Some of the art and wallpapers are very nice. I do like it, but it's nothing, now that the preview weekend is over, anyone "NEEEEEEEEEEDS" Till the full release... I mean the screens are pretty and all but about 70% of them can be found on here or GW.com itself if you dig. The other 30% of the pics arn't really worth freaking out for before full release if you don't already have it.

LMAO...in Aiea Hawaii Best Buy. I ask fro the prerelease the first store guy tells me after 7 minutes of wasting my time...er what game? Then comes back 2 min later saying the computers are down while I can see another coworker behind a help desk browsing something else. Maybe it's not related but how do you lose just the inventory program iteself. Anyway next guy has no idea what I'm talking about and tells me to talk to guy one. Finally I call from the parking lot and I'm told that Best Buy doesn't do preorders...sooooo everyone here who says they do, yea. I tell him that I got the previous one from there, Factions preorder, and he asks me who I got it from. So i ask him, do you not have the preorder or are you not giving them out...and he repeats himself instead of answering my question. Screw all retail chain stores.
