Any Stores carrying Nightfall Prerelease yet?

Alrighty well I am going to be canceling my preorder and getting a refund over at EB Games when I go on lunch in a few minutes. It seems that not only does Fry's have like 20 preorder bonus packs, but they said when I come back in to pay for the game on release I would get $10 off when I bring in the preorder disc! Yeah so EB needs to get their crap together. This will not be the first time they lose my business like this. Sad thing is that they will not miss me.

You actually have to bring the disc? With Bestbuy and Compusa you just need the receipt.......

In fact that almost doesn't make sense as you could then let your friend borrow the disc to get a discount.

Count me among the ones who got their preorder at CompUSA (Raleigh, NC).

I got the last one though. (At least the last one I saw they had at the moment.)

Unfortunately, BB has no CE and here in NYC is no Fry's (AFAIK).

So I am still waiting for Gamestop ...

Yeah. this is crap about EB and GS. I had it preordered for a month, and people are picking the prerelease up off the shelf elsewhere. Totally wrong.

I went ahead and purchased a presale off Gamespot site a few moments ago and preordered one at bestbuy.com, just incase I GS.com has no more in stock. I am not going to be robbed of a char slot or weapons because of corporate policy...

If there was a bestbuy with in an hour of where I live, I would take my business there from now on. Gamespot had better not screw up my Tales of the Abyss or Mobile Ops: Year One preorders.

I went to bestbuy after school today and they still dont have it since the 15th...
So now i decided to try compusa...
For those who bought it at compusa, which compusa store did you go to? I really hope they have more for tomorrow.

Bestbuy doesn't get it in til the 24th or the 28th. Just calling ahead of time would save you a lot of trouble...

I preordered Nightfall today, and i think i had more trouble talking to the asian employee because i had to repeat myself 3 times...

Me: "Do you have the pre-kit(didnt remember what it was called) thing for Guild Wars Nightfall?"
Guy: "Guild Lore?"
Me: "No, Guild Wars Nightfall."
Guy: "Ahh! I see, Guild Lords!"
Me: "No, Guild Wars Nightfall, the pre-kit thing."
Guy: "Oh Guild Wars! Let me go look in the back."
Guy comes back out with Guild Wars Factions.
Me: "You dont have the pre-kit for Nightfall?"
Guy: "Nope."
Me: "You guys have the Nightfall pre-kit thing on your website, cant you look online from that comp?"
Guy: "Nope."
Me: "So the Nightfall Collectors Edition is 69.99 right?"
Guy: "OH you wanted Collectors Edition let me put that in."
Me: "So when does the pre-kit thing come out?"
Guy: "We dont know if well be getting it."
Me: "So when you guys do get it can i come pick it up without having to buy it again?"
Guy: "Yes of course."
I pay 5 bucks for the reserving thing. I look at the receipt:

So i look at the reciept and it says Guild Wars Online, i was sorta confused.... but hopefully i can exchange it for nightfall.... and i also checked the online store of Gamestop and it said they will send the StarterKit when Nightfall comes out... im not even sure if thats the same as the prerelease thing...wtf... this is all messed up.

So the Prerelease thing according to GW.com is supposed to have those weapons and the other stuff. The same thing goes for the Starterkit thing from Gamestop.com. I sorta feel like i got jipped.

Edit: The store is Gamestop and im in California.

Gamestop has been calling the bundle of game+bonus pack a starter kit. They are the same thing if that's what you're getting at...
