Australians and Nightfall prerelease pack

This reminds me of my post i made about the issues i had with Factions
included was a email from Anet who told me that the to post it on one of there Official GW Forums which i did anjd look here we are again with the same problems ... i presume that they told me to put it in the forums so it can be appropiately IGNORED!!!!!

Well, an update. They didn't have it, but closer to the release date they will get 'em in.

It's all to do with the individual store really. My local EB has a bunch of great guys running it and they really know what they're doing. Head office just hasn't assigned any stock to them.

I started a whole thread about how Anet doesn't care about Australians!

well bonus pack needs to be out within the next 5 days..

Keep in mind that you don't unlock the bonus slot nor the bonus weapon until you add your full retail key for Nightfall. As such there's no reason you would need it in five days as you wouldn't be able to use it for the world peview event anyway. As long as you get it by Oct 27; you'll be fine.

There is no pet in the bonus pack; that's in a completely unrelated magazine.

I suppose ANet might have botched it again, but I doubt it.
More likely is that EB, or their importers are responsible for the delay.
EB imports all their stock to a head-office controlled warehouse, HO then decides which stores get how much of what stock, and ship it accordingly.
The best that individual stores can do is request X number of copies.

Checked with EB Games here in Christchurch, New Zealand (tried Northlands and Riccarton), neither of them have the pre release pack.

Went to Woden this time around (fairly randomly - I just happened to be there and saw the poster) and preordered there. The story I'm getting from them is that they haven't received them, don't know when they'll receive them, and when they do they'll go to the people who had the earliest preorders (and they'll call when they arrive). The guy did have the nerve to give me the 'don't believe everything you read' spiel when I commented that they were supposed to be available on the 15th, though...

Oh, and as a little bit of trivia, for those who aren't aware - Alex is originally from Australia. I'm sure he's paying close attention to developments down here...

Out of curiosity, does anyone know the direct contact details to EB HQ here in Australia? If fault lies with them, I'd like to have the chance to email them and ask for an explanation, rather than dealing with the individual store which doesn't get the full details anyway.

I juust called EB Robina(I have a CE order there), They dont have it in but hope to have it by the end of the week.

Some of the EB stores in NZ dont have their prerelease bonus packs, even though they have advertised as having them...

checked with Perth City EB (WA) - "we probably wont be getting it until the game is released, to prevent people from preordering, getting the bonus disc then cancelling the order"

will check northern suburbs EBs later and post.

Yeah, that's what Perth City EB said to me. A little bit disappointing, I'm kind of worried by that because if they don't end up getting them there's no other way to get them that late.

Monday, September 18th. 15:45PM AET

I just got off the phone with the guy in charge of PC games at EB HQ Australia/New Zealand, and was informed that the GW:Nightfall Pre-Order Bonus Packs were shipped from their main wearhouse today. Most EB stores in Australia are within a 1 day delivery zone, but some of the more regional stores will recieve theirs on Wednesday. I apologize to all NZ players, I forgot to ask when you can expect yours. I'd guess you should have them by the weekend.

I also enquired as to why the packs were delayed, EB had to order the POBPs direct from the UK instead of from their domestic suppliers, which created a slightly longer delivery time.
