Anybody wanna explain to me why I walked into my local futureshop and saw piles and piles of the pre-order sitting on a shelf...... with a sticker price of $34.99!!!!!
I know futureshop is known for the over-inflated mark ups.... but wow.

tried to take advantage of the pre-order special offer with Amazon "free pre-order pack when you buy Guild Wars: Nightfall" however what they fail to tell you is that yeah sure you can get the free pre-order pack but you can only order one.
Now considering my husband and I game together it would be divorce time considering the arguements if we had to share so we always buy 2 - only problem this time is that the free pre-order is now no longer free since I have to place 2 separate orders and therefore pay shipping over seas twice.
There is no mention of the fact you can only buy one of the special order any where on Amazon and I have gone through their terms and conditions in fine detail. So be warned if you are trying to order more than one of this special offer since the normally reliable Amazon is this time no longer a friend!
Update - Amazon came through and apologised! They are shipping 2 copies at the same time and have removed shipping costs for both!

He brought out the box with both the bonus pack AND the pre-order box. He assembled the pre-order box and slid the bonus into it. ... Yup, I quickly smiled, said thanks and went up to buy the $10 pre-order box.

Finally got ours. We're in GA , USA. They arrived at Best Buy yesterday (any other store nearby still didnt have them) Had to buy the pre-order too to get them for 4.99 price, otherwise would be 9.99. I was hoping on getting them from Amazon, but the Amazon store sold out before I could check out (Thanks Amazon for emailing me like you said you would when they became available...) and I am not paying 10 to 25 from resellers on there. I hate pre-ordering from Best Buy because getting a CE depends on if they even order any in and if you get to the store before anyone else who wants one. *crossing fingers*

1) You get a free slot for buying the bonus pack and it WON'T be active until you load in Nightfall CD-Key
2) The extra two slots came from Nightfall CD-Key NOT the bonus pack. And like the above, you need to wait till you activate the Nightfall key to get the remaining two slots.

^Yeah.... it was confirmed that you could only have one bonus key per account, that the slots wouldn't be applied to your account til you add your Nightfall retail key, and that Nightfall would add two slots when added to an existing account -weeks before the bonus pack went on sale. So I'm not seeing what you're getting at. Don't blame the support team for your failing to look into the details of the bonus pack at all before buying it.

They assumed you meant how can you redeem the other two bonus packs you bought and responded
So they did answer your question rather quickly and that answer was that you can never redeem the other two keys.

From the looks of it Walmart has the standard edition game for $40 and the standard edition+tshirt for $50 and collector's for $60; no mention of the bonus pack though.

I dont know if this is how its supposed to work or not, but I just walked into my local EB to pre-order the CE and the person working just gave me the pre-release pack.

My pre-order from Best Buy arrived the other day. All that was in the package was a flat box. Nothing else. The bonus package was not online when I ordered. The NF box has a sticker that says "Pre-Order Box". So, I take it from reading this thread, that this is not the bonus package. All this gets me is $10 off the purchase of the game.

I ordered the CE with bonus pack from outpost.com last month, and the order status is still backordered. I received an email from outpost.com saying that they didn't have a definite ship date and asking me if I still would like to keep the order active. I really have no idea if they would eventually get the bonus pack or not.

^All you can do is give they serial keys to your friends. Selling the keys for ingame money is technically against the rules; plus you probablly wouldn't get much even if you could find a buyer.

Just got an email from a Finnish retailer saying that game is propably shipping to customers next week because they haven't heard anything about the Nightfall yet. Any other Scandinavian having problems or know perhaps an online store around here parts that actually might have the game already? Same happened with Factions.

I just received my collectors edition of nightfall + bonus pack. I have already successfully entered retail and bonus item keys. However there is a key here that says "Bonus Music Key".
The problem i am having is it is only three sets of characters, not five, so the client will not accept it as it thinks it's only a partial key.
Anyone else having this issue or know how to handle it before I start emailing support with something possibly my fault?

Attempted to enter key - because it is partial key "NEXT" never activates
Read the NC Play FAQ - no references to such a key
Visited directsong.com - no Nightfall music even exists on that site.
Hope I can find an answer here as i know if I have to go through support it'll be a few days . . . .
